At that moment a black Benz pulled up in front of the restaurant, and out came Mr Harrison Lancaster and with him, his son Tobin Lancaster.
The bouncers immediately cleared the way for him to move. Mr Harrison Lancaster was one of the famous members of the casino. He is very wealthy with different companies spread across the country. He often frequented the casino with his youngest son Tobin.
Tobin was an handsome young man around the same age as Sharon, but he had little interest in anything except music. As usual his ear was stuffed with his ear piece, even when his dad stopped to exchange words with Sharon who was still fuming in front of the restaurant.
"Young lady what is the problem?" Mr Lancaster asked when he came close to her.
He could not help but notice something was special about her eyes. Her eyes reminded him of someone he could not easily remember now.
"Nothing." was the response he got from her.
"Don't worry you can tell me anything. Are these men harassing you?" he asked again.
To this she replied with a "Yes."
He moved over to the men and decided to ask them what happened. When he was told he asked her, "Why do you want to see your dad urgently young lady?"He kept staring at those blue eyes at the same time.
"I am sick and I need money from him" she lied.
"I'm sorry about that." He said as he signaled to Tobin to give her some money but Tobin wasn't even listening to their conversation. He was on a different world of his own listening to his music.
Mr Lancaster walked inside the restaurant and Sharon was left alone with Tobin. Sharon noticed he was well dressed with his hair neatly shaved. She wanted to repeat the message from Mr Lancaster to him but she didn't know how to go about it as she walked up to him. It was when he saw her close to him he removed his ear piece to hear what she had to say.
"Your dad asked you to give me some money."
"Why will he do that?" he asked wide eyed.
"You can go ask him." she said rolling her blue eyes at him.
Of course he hadn't heard their conversation and there was no way he could go inside to ask him. He would have easily given her the money but the way she stood there looking at him with hostile eyes, made him decide against it. He thought it was too rude of her and so decided not reply her. He fixed his ear piece back in his ears and got into the car.
Sharon was shocked by his rude behavior and wanted to open the car and give him a slap for that attitude but something happened stopped her. The pain. It was back. The pain on her left arm was back and this time it left her feeling very confused and worried. She no longer cared about the money she just wanted to see her dad.
Meanwhile inside the casino...
The room was getting too hot for Mr Peter Jackson. He had already lost three bets that day. His car, his house and $10,000 was all gone. He had no home to return to and there was no way he could face Sharon and break the news to her. He thought about his life for some time and decided there was only one way out of it. A Russian roulette. Only one man walks of this game alive. Everyone knows only one man plays the Russian roulette and that man is Mr Lancaster.
"You still have time to rethink your decison" he said to Mr Jackson. But his mind was already made up. It was either he gets all his wealth back or he dies. He didn't want to be alive to face Sharon.
Mr Lancaster was known to always put half of his wealth on the line whenever he played this game and this was what Mr Jackson wanted.
"You've lost everything you own already, what else can you offer me?" Mr Lancaster asked as he watched him with shrewd eyes.
"My daughter, Sharon."
