A week before Evelyn's departure
After leaving Evelyn's house, Sam decided to go back to his apartment first, before leaving for the office.
"Ah, I have to tell Barly that I'm coming to the office." He muttered.
He looked for his cellphone, which was supposed to be in his trouser pocket but it wasn't there. He checked again his left and right pocket, then patted his forehead lightly when he remembered that he had put it on the nightstand in his lover's room.
"Ah.... Damn! I forgot, before taking a shower I put it on the nightstand beside the bed," Sam muttered annoyed, then looked for an intersection for his car to turn around, intending to take his cellphone and if possible also his addiction as a provision at the time of their the separation later.
