"Morning, Lyn," Sam greeted warmly with a handsome smile on his lips.
Evelyn didn't answer right away, because the greeting with the name Lyn reminded her of her past weaknesses.
"Morning honey," Evelyn said deliberately.
The greeting with affectionate calls from Evelyn, of course made Sam instantly embarrassed, not to mention his heart was beating fast. It made him afraid, if his face at this time would be decorated with a red hue.
"Damn it, she only greets me with a honey, but why is it driving me crazy," Sam thought who was currently arguing with his heart and mind.
"Can I call you honey too, Lyn?" Sam asked in a happy tone, making Evelyn nod but inwardly annoyed, when again the name Lyn rang in her ears.
