I didn't realize what had happened, as I froze when I heard the news about my mother. I didn't even know how I got here, all I knew, was that Sam brought me here.
In front of me was the doctor who handled my mother's surgery, showing a facial expression that really made me feel anxious.
"Sorry we did our best, but Mrs. Maria's life couldn't be helped anymore. The impact on the head caused Mrs. Maria to lose a lot of blood. Again, I am sorry."
Instantly my world shattered and my head seemed to spin. What was that? It seemed I had a hearing problem.
But when I saw the doctor's face, I realized that what I heard was true. I raved about this outrageous lie.
