At Sam's condo
Sam came home feeling confused. He could not even remember how he got home, and was able to come home safely. His mind drifted by the words of Evelyn, who told him to keep the engagement going.
How could he continue the engagement, when he already loved her. He knew he was wrong by covering everything from her, but he just wanted to fulfill his promise to his mother who had passed away. If he hadn't seen Evelyn, he'd be sure he'd take this nonsense marriage for granted.
