After finishing his opening and stabilizing his Ki, Dane turned to Kami and asked," mother, Father told me that you would teach me about Runes." He said in a serious but exited voice. He had been waiting for this moment for a long time, and his patience was running thin. His thirst for Knowledge and his curiosity for [Rune Inscription] had only grown in the last 3 years.
Kami nodded and with a thoughtful expression, answered back "yes but first I'll tell you of the other sub occupations."
Dane nodded and she continued "you've heard of rune inscription, but there are more."

After explaining The occupations and their mastery levels, she went on to speak again. " these occupations play a large role in the world as many things that aren't mentioned, make things easier for the clan. For instance, when we were traveling, we required a lot of mounts, this is where the beast tamer family's of the clan came in. They acquired and tamed us the kremlin horses used to pull large loads and carry our wagons."
Dane nodded in understanding. He had a question in mind though," so does that mean we have family's in the clan for all occupations?" He asked curiously to which Kami shook her head and said" we used to, but now we only have a few rune masters, Forging masters, and beast tamers left"
She sighed.
During the years, the practice of arrays and talismans began to die out compared to other occupations.this was not due to it not being needed, the reason was it required soul talent which among barbarians is sparse.
Dane understood this was most likely due to the [GF] GreatFall of the Royal clans, and when the constant wars began. There had been many great Array masters and Taoists when the Royal clans ruled, but since the continents have entered a perpetual state of war, Soul Talent has become harder to find.
This conclusion led him to become curious of Soul talent and cultivation.
"Mother, how does one know if they have soul talent?" He wanted to know if he had a chance to become an Array master as he had deemed it useful for the future.
Kami replied," well there are many ways to find out. For one, you could have a soul cultivator which from what I know, the Elves were great souls cultivators and also he ones who use to supply us soul stones.
"Soul stones were stones found in areas saturated in dense soul Energy/Ki, which is are located near their ancestral trees. But ever since they disappeared from the currently known continents,
Barbarian had to resort to other methods of finding soul talent.
One such method was going into Sacred beast Territories, where there are also large amounts of soul energy, collecting some of it, and injecting it into Gems.
Once injected into the gem, the soul energy would liquify and created, Soul Gems. Though their uses are less in number to a regular Soul Stone, and they are hard to create without a array master, in the Barbarian cities that still stand, they go for Extreme prices.
The Other methods in finding soul talent can be dangerous and most times leave you Soul Crippled or dead. But In my opinion... I'd rather die than get soul crippled as you will no longer be able to move your body as the connection would be severed. You would be trapped in your own body for the rest of your life unless you get your soul restored or die before then." As she finished talking, she shivered from the thought of becoming Soul Crippled.
Dane, hearing this information and the last parts about Soul Crippling, also shivered slightly. The thought of being trapped in his own body didn't sit well with him and he decided to put his urge to research The soul on paused till he gathered more info.
Back to what he was doing Dane asked, Kami "So I get to Become a [Runic Master] since I've begun cultivating?" He was exited to hear her answer, but was let down after hearing what she had to say.
"No, you first need to begin cultivating your mind as well, we waited for you to begin cultivating to tell you this because, you will start to learn from the Clans [Runic Masters], who will give you a cultivation technique for your mind in order to open your Minds Eye."
Dane nodded in understanding. If he had to open I'd Minds Eye to begin, he should first start cultivating his body and then begin cultivating he mind.
" so when can we meet the [Runic Masters]?" Dane asked
Kami just showed a mysterious smile as she spoke
"Soon Dane, Very Soon..."
