"Madame, votre espresso.(Ma'am, your espresso)" A lady dressed in black and white dress forward her order with a smile.

"Merci.(thanks)"She replied with a smile while the barista smiled and placed the cup of hot espresso in front of her before going back to work.

While she looked lost and deep in thought. Her hazel green eyes held a hidden pain as she looked around amongst the crowd of people in the city of love.

In the city of love, she have been loving alone for five years. She has given everything and whatever she has dreamed.

The love , the care and all the trust and faith in fairytale that she has been been dreaming of ever since she was a child.

"I told you not to wait for me, ma. I would have come back from school directly. I am not a baby anymore ,mamma. " A boy of around sixteen years old came and kissed her cheeks. Her then dull face, that held nothing but pain in them, lit up like a Christmas tree.

"You will always be my baby boy, JayJay. And I love it here. I can write better when I see and observe people." She cuddled his cheeks and kissed his forehead, before patting the place next to her.

"Sit here and tell me, how has been your day?"She smile at him as her son animated talked about how he has been selected in the swimming team and how his coach was very impressed with his performance.

"...and then, she came in front of me, glaring at me like I asked her kidney! Can you believe it mamma? She has over reacted because I couldn't understand the smiple trigonometry sum. If she wasn't the new bee, I would have showed her, how hard maths in!" He pouted as he stole a croissant from his mother.

"Jayden Wilson, no matter how much you hate maths, you can't treat someone bad for it! And that not what I taught you , to show your power on other just because their opinion doesn't matches with your!" Delilah Wilson looked at her son who looked down in guilt.

"I am sorry ,mumma.I would never do that. I am your son after all, do you think I can even hurt a mosquito?" He pouted looking down and then peaked at her through his lashes.

Even though she didn't looked toward him to how her disappoinment, she didn't miss his adorable face from the corner of her eyes.

"Mumma pwleaseeeeeee" He held her hand and pulled her toward him and blinked his eyes rapidly while making puppy dog face.

"Damn, your aunty Ella has taught you nice way to melt me." She pursed her lips and cursed her sister for teaching her son the art of puppy dog face.

"You know , she told me to practice it twice in front of the mirror." He chortled and took a bite from the croissant.

"She really need a lesson from me! Teaching things that shouldn't be taught to children's with adorable face." She said faking anger.

"I am not kid, mamma. And I am definitely not adorable anymore." Tip of his ears turned pink and his face flushed.

"Aha, who is the girl? Who is show , who is making you blush like a new bride?"She wiggled her eyebrows with a smirk.

"Wh–What are you talking about? Their is no one ,mamma." He looked away and tried not to look toward his mother, who know him inside out.

"Really? You think you can hide it from me and I won't know? Tell me who is the lucky girl ,who has successfully captured my adorable JayJay's attention and turned him into a blushy newly wedded bride?" She teased and Jayden let out a groan in annoyance.

"Mamma, don't call me JayJay. I am not a baby." He pouted and looked away, trying hard to change the topic. But his heart thudded as he recalled the way a certain pain of ice blue eyes glared at him.

"Thinking about my future daughter-in-law?"

"Mamma, I am not talking with you!" He whined and looked away, crossing his arms.

"Okay, okay, fine I won't tease you, but I do definitely know that my son is definitely feeling something." She giggled and and the sound of his mother's giggle both a smile on his face.

He has always see her struggle hard, for him, for them. To provide him with all the necessity that he has ever needed in life.

And he has promised himself that he will do whatever it takes but he would never let a single drop of tear out from his mother's eyes.

"You remember the girl I fought with in the market, because she grabbed the same basket as mine?" Delilah's stilled for a second, her mind conjuring the thought of what had happened two days back. Her body stiffen.

She took a shuddering breath to calm the raging storm that has been hidden within her for last thirty-four years.

"Yes, I–I do." She nodded her head and tried to smile.

"She has challenge me to beat me in swimming." And she saw it in his eyes , the same admiration and curiosity that she once had for the certain someone.

"You remember her dad?"Delilah heart dropped and her whole body froze.

"He is a good man. He is fun to be around. I hand out with him today, but you know, his daughter, she is a bit, moody."

Delilah couldn't hear the rest of the things. Her mind taking her back to the incident that had happened two days ago. When her clam was collided by a waves of blue stormy night.

She played the entire scenario like a reel in her head, Jayden's word no longer the center of her but, it was taken over by the ocean of blue eyes that she wanted to erase.
