The Lieutenant was standing in front of him in all her glory. She had a small smile on her face and Daniel felt even more guilty. He didn't want to hurt her after all she had been really kind to him.

Naomi stepped inside the cell Daniel was kept in. She nodded at him.
"How are you doing, Daniel Lockwood?"
"I'm good. Thank you." He didn't look her in the eye.
"Is something wrong, Daniel?" She approached him and sat beside him.
Shouldn't have done that, he thought.
"Hmm?"
"Shouldn't you be outside with your cop friends?" He hissed at her. He just wanted her to walk away but she didn't even budge.
"My cop friends are getting worried over what happened last night. Your ex-friends stopped by to say hello." She paused.
