"Ahhhhhhhhh!!!!!" Cedric immediately woke up after hearing Aubrey's cry inside the toilet. His eyes widened when he realized that he forgot to tell her the changes on her body.
He stood up and ran towards the toilet when he heard a bang sound inside. He saw her frightened face and she fainted.
He caught her to prevent her from falling on the ground and sighed.
He carried her and lied her down on the bed.
"What happened?" the door opened and Dr. Dennis appeared.
"She fainted after checking herself inside the toilet" he answered. He already knew what happened to Aubrey even without seeing it. It is a normal reaction! Who wouldn't be frighten after seeing a tiny elephant trunk between your pants?
Dr. Dennis sighed. Even he, the best known doctor in the field of Biochemistry, doesn't know how it happened. The Reinhold Family wouldn't even divulge the event that happened during the wishing well tradition. So, he wouldn't force them to say it.
"When will she be discharged? An assassin sneaked inside to kill her" Cedric's eyes sharpened as he stared at Dr. Dennis. The hospital's security is not tight enough for Aubrey's safety to stay here.
The Reinhold Family has many property and Aubrey can recuperate there. They wouldn't be worry if ever she's inside Reinhold's territory.
"Her body didn't show any abnormalities but we need further examination. After three or four days, she can be discharged here and take medicines at home" Dr. Dennis said while flipping the current medical result of Aubrey. After writing a prescription, he gave it to Cedric.
Cedric listens carefully and accepted the prescription.
"I know that the Reinhold Family is busy on their business but I hope that there will be someone by her side this time for her to adjust. If not, a psychological problem will occur" Dr. Dennis advised. He glanced at Aubrey's peaceful sleep and left.
Only Cedric is inside the room. He called a trusted supplier of medicine for Aubrey and decided to stay.

Aubrey opens her eyes and stares at the white ceiling longer and checks again on between her legs. She wanted to convince herself that there's no tiny elephant trunk there but she was dumbfounded when she indeed saw it.
She didn't recover immediately.
"You're awake" a young man's voice. She turned her head on him and was stunned.
"Why is he here?" her eyes widened when she sobered up.
"The doctor didn't find any abnormalities in your body. It's like you didn't undergo physical changes at all. However, your medical history showed that you were a girl" he stated the fact.
However, Aubrey didn't hear what he said because her mind focused on tracing out Cedric's face. She didn't imagine that there will be a day of being friends with Cedric.
She heard about the Conrad Family before the balcony greeting happened. Some of it is about Cedric. They said that he was cold, aloof and matured despite his age.
She even heard that Cedric doesn't want to be with other girls of the same age and hated sitting with adult women because of the cosmetic smells.
"Is there something wrong?" Cedric frowned and walked towards her direction.
Aubrey just looked at him without saying anything back at him which makes him frowned even more.
"You don't even have a fever" he said while reaching out his palm on her forehead to check, if she has a fever.
Aubrey blushed because of this sudden intimacy and concern. Her heart throbbed while her hands clenched on the quilt and remember her physical changes.
"I-I'm fine!" she moved her head to distance from Cedric's palm. She doesn't want to experience this after knowing that she turned into a boy.
She shook her head and decided to set aside her thought about Cedric. She convinced herself that she only sees him as a friend and maybe, a big brother.
"Don't worry. You will be discharged after four days. The doctors needed more examination on you. Dr. Dennis is your physician in-charged but he has a team behind to check you" he said and sat down on her bed beside Aubrey.
Aubrey can see from his posture that he's a young master of aristocratic and influential family.
"Why are you here?" she asked. It never occurs to her that Cedric is here because of pure concern but family business ties.
"Have you remember what happened yesterday?" Cedric asked back without answering her question. Aubrey frowned and tried to remember.
"Ack!" she clutched on her head while forcefully remembering what happened yesterday but she felt pain on her head. It is very painful and her forehead is sweating while her face paled.
Suddenly, a hand holds on her wrist while she's heavily panting.
"Stop trying to remember." Cedric said after observing her reaction. He never thought that Aubrey is having a difficulty on remembering it.
"Can you tell me what happened?" she asked while adjusting her breath.
Cedric stood up and got his laptop from inside his bag. He opened a file and showed the video to Aubrey while his eyes are on Aubrey. He is waiting for her reaction.
Aubrey gasped.
"Don't worry. The assassin cannot enter your room again. We tightened the security..." before he continued saying his next words. Aubrey stopped him while her eyes brightened.
"Look! It's so cool! I didn't learn any martial arts but I could beat up an assassin! Awesome!" she lively screamed like it's not her who did it but someone else.
"You never learned martial arts?" Cedric asked while his eyes are still on Aubrey.
Aubrey didn't notice his observant eyes but bragging it smugly.
"Nope! But I never thought that I have this ability!" she clapped her hands once while watching the video.
"You didn't remember what happen yesterday that's why you felt pain on your head, right?" it sounds like he is a question but Cedric knows it is fact which needs her confirmation.
She nodded.
