"Have you found her?" A man with a hoarse voice asked to a black cloaked woman in front of him. He couldn't feel any presence from this woman. There are two reason why, either the woman is stronger than him or the woman is just an ordinary woman. However, his instinct sided on the former.
"No... After we felt her presence, it completely fades away" the black cloaked woman answered. Her voice sounds like an adult woman but anyone can see that her figure belong to a little girl.
"Is that so? Is there any other way to find her?" the man asked again.
"Yes, we can use her blood essence from thousand years ago to find her unless she already reincarnated" she answered while flipping through the pages of a comic book from the shelves of the man's study.
"Then, let's do that" he doesn't know how to find that so-called presence by this woman. He could only follow her plan.
"Okay" the woman replied. This book caught her attention because of the blurb. The life experience of the antagonist is similar to her right now and the so-called protagonist is most likely for that woman she's looking for.
"I must find him as soon as possible before she fully awakened. Otherwise, my plan will fail" she murmured to herself. Her eyes glowed and her lips hooked up.
The man sighed. He didn't know when did his daughter change so much that he couldn't recognize her anymore.
Yes, the black cloaked woman is his daughter. She's ten years old this year. She changed after her car accident two years ago.
He wanted to say 'No' on his daughter's firmed order but couldn't, after hearing the voice of an adult woman from her.
On that day onwards, he knows he should obey on her every order. Otherwise, the body of her daughter will be discarded by that woman who possessed his daughter's body.
His daughter stood up and the cloak slid down from her head. A petite little girl with blondy curly hair, long eyelashes, pinkish cheeks and rosy lips. Anyone can see that she's a little girl who haven't reach adulthood yet but her eyes showed her cunning mind.
"Deploy our men on your side and I'll find her on my own way" she ordered and she vanished but left an after-image.
------
Cedric already left the Sue Mansion because of his father's call. His uncle, Chief Peter, found some trace about the assassin.
His parents are inside his father's study, discussing about their business plan for upcoming season. Only he and his uncle are in the living room.
Chief Peter put down a folder on the table in front of them. They sat the sofa on opposite each other. Cedric's eyes focused on the folder while Chief Peter opened it and showed the information.
"There's a wolf tattoo on the assassin's shoulder. We checked on the list of secret organization in our records but we didn't find it" he showed the photo of the dead assassin towards Cedric.
Cedric looked on the photo. A blue wolf with open mouth that showed sharp fangs was painted on the shoulder of the assassin.
On the other side...
Aubrey eats the food elegantly like a proper young miss but for others who saw her like that, it's awkward.
The round-table is enough for five person but their father and grandparents are still in Reinhold Corporation.
Andrew sat opposite her while their parents are on the other side. He coughed three times to get the attention of Aubrey. Aubrey looked at him while her right eyebrow raised.
"Is there something wrong, elder brother?" Aubrey asked.
"Yes, there is" Andrew nodded and looked at Aubrey. His gaze locked on her for a seconds.
"And... What is that?" she asked and her eyes squinted.
"I think you need to behave like a young master. You are no longer a young miss but a young master, Aubrey" Andrew emphasized the word 'young master' instead of the word 'young miss'.
Aubrey looked blankly at Andrew after hearing his words. Honestly, she still couldn't accept the fact that she turned into a boy. Her eyes moistened while holding back her tears.
Andrew panicked and stood up. He walked towards her and hugged her from behind. "You...You don't need to accept it right away. Let's do it slowly, okay?" he tried to calm her down.
Aubrey cried loudly as her body trembled. Yes, she can only accept it...slowly.
"You have to nourish your body first, okay? Then, I'll tell you some important things about being a man that no girl understand" he said while wiping her tears on her cheeks.
Aubrey nodded and hugged her elder brother.
"By the way, was your wish granted?" he asked. He changed the topic in order to divert her attention on other things.
Aubrey's eyes lit up and showed motivation. "I didn't try to it but I will find out!" she exclaimed excitedly.
Andrew was relieved that he succeeded on diverting her attention. He sat again but beside Aubrey.
"Then, we will do a strength test tomorrow. Just calm down yourself first and try to find out on how to unleash your power. As I observed you right now, I think you haven't unleash it yet" Andrew looked at the shining eyes of Aubrey. He smiled and took a deep breath. Fortunately, her twin sister didn't change a bit despite their grandmother's discrimination and changes on her body.
Aubrey nodded and stood up after eating. She immediately ran upstairs to her room.
Andrew shook his head and smiled.
