The slight commotion drew the attention of the women who showed they recognized Soo-Ah with a smile from afar. They exchanged a couple of words with the annoyed individual carrying his box, before motioning for her to come to join them.

The stranger, having put down his wooden burden to check its contents, paid no more attention to the women around him and proceeded to tend to the patient who was ailing on the bed.
