"Opening the gates of hell is bull shit!"
"Then what are we going to do?" We need the keys to open all four gates, if not then we have no other choice!"
The voices continued.
Addison opened her eyes, the voices disappeared. She stood in a pitch black room that was as quiet as a night and as still as a rock.
A ticking sound compelled her ear. Fear struck her at every breath she took.
"Step forward."
A voice said.
Addison turned around to face the voice. It was blurry as an old memory and cold as ice.
She stepped forward while her steps tremble. "Where am i?"
"I'm a Soul Reaper here to guide your soul. Now come closer!"
She held her head low and did as she was command.
The soul reaper smiled, in less than two seconds he was standing in front of her, he gripped her chin and placed his lips onto hers. He forcefully bit her lips. The red thick blood trickles down her chin while she moaned in pain.
The place flickers from black to white, Addison could not do anything but endure the harshness of his kiss.
"Wow!"
"Who are you?"
"You have a very special soul."
He said while licking his lips. The Soul Reaper reached out to her with his smile as crooked as a knot.
"You now belong to my master."
Once again the place began to flicker from black to white.
Addison closed her eyes as tightly as possible. A voice whispered, "Don't be scared."
Opening her eyes in shock and fear, the feeling of being numbed, Addison a shivering voice called out.
It was Steph and Addison's mother Mrs. Grey crying.
"Addison, are you okay?"
Steph said with her eyes all swollen up. "I think so. What happen to me?"
"Don't you remember?"
Steph trembled while explaining what happened to her.
"You got hit by a car."
"Mrs. Grey, I'm afraid visiting hours are over."
A nurse said. "Mom, don't leave me. Please!"
Mrs. Grey kissed her sweet daughter's fore head then walked out. Steph hugged her tight, wiped her eyes and walked out crying.
"Addison can I help you with anything?" "My name is Betty and I'm the nurse that was assigned to you."
"No I'll be okay."
The nurse fixed her pillow, looked at her watch, "I'll be going then, if you need anything just call, okay."
Once again Addison was all alone in pain and going through her thoughts.
Death is different for every individual. Addison did not know what she had just experienced or what was real and not.
"Wow!"
A toneless voice said.
Addison looked where the voice came from, glowing red eyes in the dark, she could see nothing else. A dripping sound surrounded her.
A shiver ran down her back while the eyes came closer and got brighter.
She gripped the pillow, while cold sweat gushes down her back, her heart beat echoed and her eyes trembled.
Waiting to see what lies in the dark beyond those glowing red eyes.
