Mom's words keep flashing again and again in my ear when I read the letter that Sevi left earlier.

I walk closer to the old bridge where Sevi and I always hang out. It's been a long time since I came here but the place is still stunning. An old wooden bridge and those tall trunks at each end make the view even more beautiful.
As I approached the middle of the bridge, I found his belongings on the floor. I immediately ran and looked for him around but there was no sign that he was there. I peeked at the water and my eyes widened when I saw his shoes floating in the water.
"Sevi ?!" I called and waited that someone would answer but I could only hear the flow of the river. I gradually felt scared because maybe my imagination was true before.
But why would he end up like this!
"Sevi! Hey! Are you crazy! Answer me! "I cried as I faced the river.
I ran down the stairs and slowly dive in the river so I could see if his body was still there.
Even though we get angry every day, I still have a conscience when that dork dies!
"Pat?" I heard a call from behind so I immediately turned around.
"What are you doing there?" he asked again so my face starts to burn with embarrassment.
"Why are you here? Where are you from? "I asked
"I looked for a long stick because my shoes fell" and he lifted the wood he was carrying. "Are you crying?"
But I just moaned in extreme stupidity.
I was currently sitting and hugging my knees. He immediately took off the coat of his uniform and covers it around my shivering body.
"Are you still cold?"
"No! It's hot!" I slapped him but he just nodded and went back to his seat.
"I don't know how to explain it but I'm really sorry Pat," he said seriously before looking me in the eye.
"Hmmm. I'm made a mistake too, so I'm sorry! " I replied, still looking straight at the river.
"So how are we?" he asked.
"It depends" he faced me with a raised eyebrow.
"It depends ?! you almost swam the river because you were so worried about me ?! Then it still depends? "
"Huh! Me? I was worried about you? Are you serious?"
"is it not?" he asked with a smile as he approached me. I looked at him badly while throwing one of my shoes.
"Go to hell!" I sighed and looked at the water again.
He sat down next to me and rested his leg and stretches his arm.
"Ahh! This feels good"he said so I peeked at the corner of my eye.
He also looked at me but we just laughed at the same time. This moment reminds me of our childhood.
We always spent our time debating for something and ended fighting until we came home crying. I still remember when Mom picked me up with a stick because I pushed Sevi when he almost drowned right here at this exact scene.
"Hey!"
I suddenly regained consciousness when I saw him stand up and taking off his clothes.
" What are you doing! You look like a skeleton without clothes! Wear it back! "
"What if I jump here? Will you save me?" He stands near the edge of the bridge.
"Will I be rich if I save you?" I asked as he stood up and jumped.
My eyes widened when I saw him fall into the water.
"Is he stupid? At that age, he probably knows how to swim! " I face the water while shrugging as I waited for him to float but after a few seconds...
I still did not see him coming up.
"Hey !Sevi! Are you dead?" I shouted.
I looked around, confused about what will I do.
"If he cheats on me, I will really kill him!" and jumped in the water.
I tried to open my eyes under the water to look for him but I could not find anything, so I dived even more when someone grabbed my hand and pulled me up.
"I thought you didn't care," he said with a smile.
"I don't care about you, I care for those poor fish when they were polluted because of your corpse!"
But instead of teasing me, he suddenly hugged me.
"I will sue you for harassment for what you are doing" I whispered but only a weak laugh was heard in response.
"I'm glad I have you" then he hugged me even tighter.
Sevi never acted like this to me except, something bad happens to him or something he goes through; it suddenly comes out on his side.
I know he doesn't just want to say sorry as he sent me here.
"Did something happen? I just got cleaned my ears. I'm ready to listen." I said while patting his back."But before that, let's go first. I'm really getting cold." I complained. He immediately let me go.
We went straight to his car because I was already sneezing and another thing is it was getting dark.
"Tell me," I asked as he sat in the driver's seat.
"The thing is, I have something on that phone that… I don't want you to know" he began.
I know you won't react like that if you want me to see it.
He turned to me, and it was then I realized that he was crying. I wish I could document this scene so that I can blackmail him again.
But is this really true? Sevi is crying in front of me?
