I went to school early because I don't want to see Sevi. I don't want to see his annoying face this morning. Especially now that we are fine, he will come back to tease me again.
I was walking into the gate when I saw a group of men. I'm not sure but they seem to have been looking at me since I enter the gate, so I deviated from the road, then I realized: it was really me. One by one they walked towards me and surrounded me.
"Is there a problem?"
"Don't you remember me?" he asked so I frowned.
I stared at him and tried to recall when I remembered the night Wendy and I got drunk.
His face was already familiar in the distance but I am not really good at recognizing faces.
"Ah! The rude one at the bar! "I said while pointing at him when he suddenly approached me made me back away, but he had his companions blocking my back.
"Do you know you're my type of woman?" He said with a smile
The moment he said that. Sevi's advice came back to my head immediately. This Jerk is a total pervert!
"I don't know and I am not interested " I slapped him to make him laugh softly. "Are you on drugs?"
"Maybe? "he said with his evil smirk.
"Maybe?. You're not yet sure but you look high every time I see you."
I don't know where my courage came from, but I can't let this maniac bully me early this morning. I tried to look brave to them when they walked one by one again until their bodies almost clung to me.
I immediately struggled to escape from them, but they were too strong that I can't move away!
I felt like I'm a dwarf trapped in the middle.
They turned their attention when someone threw a stone and hit their leader.
" Who the hell do that!" He shouted angrily and turned in both directions.
"What a great welcoming," he said with a calm voice as he walked closer to where we were standing.
He looks like a model while walking because he is provocative and besides that, he is freaking handsome!
"Gio?" he asked the man as he was standing in front of us.
My eyes widened when I heard the name. It sounds familiar, but I can't figure it out. I looked to see his face and... I just touched my lips when I finally figure out who he is.
How am I supposed to act towards him ?! Should I run? Should I hide! This is so embarrassing!
"It's been a while Leo" he replied with a smile and looked at me. Please tell me you don't know me!
"You must be Patricia, Am I right?"
I almost sank into my position when he said my name. I'm Doomed!
"Hey Gio, you know my policy" Leo inserted and pulled my arm closer to him.
"Let go of me! It hurts!" forced to let go, but his grip was too tight. "I know, but you know me too, I do not give a fuck ...especially to the girl I like," he said calmly and pulled my hand closer to him, but apart from what they were fighting.
My heartbeat quickened suddenly to hear what he said. This feels like a movie scene where the cool prince saves his girl from those jerks! And I am the princess!
I am dumbfounded! Out of nowhere.
"Are you challenging me?" Leo replied seriously and pulled the collar of Gio's shirt.
They look at each other badly, soo I got worried.
What if they suddenly fight here?!
Another thing, that they are already attracting the attention of other students who pass by. Some have even stopped and watched their quarrel as if they were watching an action movie.
"you wouldn't do that if I were you!"
" Why? What are you going to do? " He replied when he suddenly fell to the floor due to the force of the blow from Gio.
I, even with his companions, backed away because neither of us noticed his attack. The speed to which he punched Leo.
"last time Sevi and now you too, I'm getting interested in you" he looked at me while shaking his hand.
"Stop digging your own grave, Leo," Gio said softly and turned to me. He took my hand and walked as if nothing had happened.
"Are you alright?" he stopped walking and looked at me.
I could do nothing but bow since we walked earlier. I feel so embarrassed, not the fact that he's holding my hand, but because I keep on thinking if I should apologize for kissing him that day when I got drunk.
"Don't worry about Leo. As long as I am here, he can't touch you" he said softly, so I looked at him.
He is smiling at me again, and the way he looked at me in the eye made my heart start to malfunction. How does he do that thing? For my whole life, I never felt this feeling before. It was as if he was shining in front of me even more when he smiled.
"Am I still talking to someone?"He asked so I got back into my senses.
"Ah… sorry, are you saying something?"
"You seem to zone out. Are you sure your all right?"
"I'm fine..."
"What room are you in? let me take you there? "
"It's ok, you don't have to..."
"I insist," He said with a smile so I lost the reason to reject him again.
"Why are you so handsome when you smile—"I was stunned and looked at him.
We both just laughed and started walking again.
" where is Wendy?"I asked to break the silence between us.
"She never comes early to school. She has her schedule," he said directly and made me laugh softly.
Maybe that's the reason why I only see her every break time.
"You must be close to her," I asked again and he looked.
"Hmm, we both grow up together, she's more like my little sister..."
"You two look cool together," I said with a smile.
"To be honest, you got my attention since I first saw you..."
"Hmm?" I wondered because of what he said.
"Well, you look stunning the last time I see you, I didn't know your cool too" at the same time, he winked so I started to blush again.
We were going up the stairs when…
"Patricia!" I turned to see who was calling when I saw Sevi standing behind us with his eyebrows met.
