First and foremost the story generally follows a first-person point-of-view. There are occasional shifts into various other characters' POVs (other than MC) to carry the sub-plot forward or represent a contrary worldview, so don't get too confused. I use this writing style to make the story more readable as well as relatable.

"aaa" = word of mouth, spoken directly.

'aaa' = internal thought.

~aaa~= telepathy or other forms of non-human/non-vocal communications.

[aaa] = Description/Titles/Headlines/Announcements.

===: EFFECTS :===

**(aa | aa) = Time, Geolocation, time skip, etc.

(* ... *) = SFX likes Boom! Bam! Thud! Splash!

[* ... *] = VFX like light shines, falls face down, appearances/disappearances, or any other visual hints that might add depth to the story.

===: BREAKS :===

----------- = Scene changes (kinda like `cut` in movies).
