The gate was enormous. Almost thrice as big as her room in the servant's quarters back in the lower town. The two pillars and the ceiling that made the gate was in its middle, attached with a pair of wooden doors almost as big as the pillars themselves. The whole thing was at least four times as big as her room in the servants' quarters back in the lower town. On top of the gate hung a board that read 'Brooke Mansion' with lanterns hanging on both sides like decorations.
There were at least half a dozen rock-cut steps between the street in which she was standing and the gate. Two sculptures of what appeared to be soldiers with unsheathed swords stood on either side of the gate, towering tall above the servants who were rushing inside. Everything from the stone-paved street to the intricate carvings on the doors in front of her screamed wealth.
