(Shadow POV)
After Y/N left I turned back to Shoto. "You should have used both sides."
"We both know I won't."
"and we both know you should." I scolded, "Look I hate your father as much as you do, and I hate agreeing with him more; but this whole tantrum thing that you're throwing. It has to end, you have to get over it. You have to use your left side."
"Why!?"
"Because if you don't use your left side, and you don't learn to control it! It will end up killing you later!"
Shoto was about to protest but I cut him off. "Don't say that isn't true, because I am living proof that it is." I placed my hand on Shoto's shoulder. "I made that mistake a long time ago and you were there with me the entire time. You know that I am still suffering the consequences of that mistake. My quirk is killing me because of it. Your quirk will start to kill you too if you choose not to use it. Learn from my mistakes before you make them too."
Shoto couldn't look me in the eye, "I won't use it."
'This stubborn little-' I refrained from crushing his shoulder. "Fine! But when your quirk starts to kill you later; Don't say I didn't warn you, Don't pin the blame on me, and Don't come home crying because you choose not to listen." I push his shoulder as I walked towards the building. I knew my words hurt, but that was the point. He was remaking my mistakes, and it hurt to watch.

(Y/N POV)
You walk into a room full of people. In the front, stands the pro hero President Mic. After everyone sits down, President Mic talks about how the entrance exam will go. You saw a kid with green hair and freckles sitting two rows below you. He was mumbling the entire time and was terrified of the angry hedgehog sitting next to him. You didn't blame him. Hedgehogs do eat broccoli.
Once the speech was done everyone got sent to their exam place. You were not with the broccoli kid or the angry hedgehog. When the gates to the city opened, no one moved. They all were waiting for the go signal. You didn't wait like everyone else. You figure out that there would be no go signal. There wasn't one in a real fight, why would there be one in a fake fight. You dashed in and started taking out robots. Everyone still stood there confused by your actions. Once President Mic stated that the exam started, everyone started to panic. You were already 20 points ahead of everyone else.
You were actually having fun taking down robots. As you said, Peace of cake. When the 0 point robot showed up, you had 64 points in robot damage. You were far ahead and decided to take the 0 pointer down. Not to mention, that now a lot of people were in danger because of it.
You ran up to the robot, jumped, and latched on to it with your claws. Using your strength to propel yourself, you jumped farther up the robot. Then again and again and again. You made it to the back of the robot's head and started clawing at the wires. Ripping out anything that looked important. When you got to its power source you grabbed and pulled. Ripping the battery thing out of its head. In the process, however, you got shocked by the battery and passed out.
No big deal right. Just passed out, over 20 stories in the air, on top of a giant robot, that is falling to the ground, and that will probably land on top of you. No big deal right? Because you were unconscious you couldn't do anything. Hooray for crushes!

(Shoto's POV)
After our fight, me and Shadow when inside to watch the exam take place. We stood staring out the window. We have had an agreement for a long time, we don't talk about our fights. We both cool down, think about the fight, and that's it. Talking about it would just start another one. We just pretend it didn't happen, and it has worked. Same here, after a few minutes, we were a team again, almost being able to read each other minds.
Staring out the window something caught our attention. One of the 0 point robots. Miss L/N was attacking the robot. She was tearing things out the back of its head. "She's going to get to the battery and pass out." Shadow stated. She placed her hand on the glass, it glowed blue for a second, then shattered. She created a pathway in the air, from the building to the robot. I sprinted down the pathway. The pathway was moving, allowing me to get to the robot faster. The pathway was disappearing behind me, I had only one direction to go.
I was 20 feet(6.1 meters) away from miss L/N when she grabbed the battery and passed out. 'Your calculations are never off are they?' I ask Shadow in my head, glancing back.
I could not hear her, but I knew she responded, 'Never.'
I used her pathway as a platform for my ice. Creating a pathway of my own. I slid down the path of ice and grabbed miss L/N as she fell. Once I had her, I directed us towards the top of a nearby building. I quickly set her down and created ice spikes, preventing the robot from crushing the people below.
I ran back to miss L/N. She lay there unconscious. I kneeled down beside her and pulled her up into my lap. She looked so beautiful sleeping. 'WAIT!... what am I saying?' I shook my head. 'nevermind'
She was still breathing and I could feel her heartbeat in her neck. Shadow materialized a little way in front of us. She quickly came over "Is she ok?"
"As far as I know."
"Alright, we should get her to the nurse's office." Shadow placed one hand on my shoulder and one hand on miss L/N's shoulder. All three of us turned into blue sparkles. Like you would see in video games when people teleport.
We arrived at the nurse's office, and I placed miss L/N on one of the beds. Then I helped Shadow to another. I told Recovery Girl the situation for both of them and she did her thing.
