The beach is the most peaceful place for Barbara, It is the place to go to get away from her her busy and stressful life and a place that can make her forget about all her worries . It is a place where she can sit and think the best. A place where nothing matters but what is in that little moment. A trip to the beach can be successful if you make the right preparations and find activities to do during the day and night. Nature is so beautiful and to witness it, there is no place that is more beautiful than the beach(according to Barbara) or watching a sun set on a beach. For some reason, she has been attached to the beach so much and even though she hasn't been to the beach in a while because of everything that has been happening. Today she was planning on surfing, she really enjoyed surfing, it was one of the things that made her happy every time she came to the beach . The other things she enjoyed was the smell of fresh air and the cold breeze, and the sound of the water.
Barbara packed the things that she would need at the beach today including her surfboard, that she hadn't used in ages. She put them in her car and she drove to the beach. She parked her car in the parking lot, she got out and she walked towards the beach, she found a good spot that only had a few people and she sat down. She inhaled the fresh, moist air coming from the beach. She couldn't help but admire the view that was in front of her, she really wished that her every day life would be like this, peaceful and stress free. The only thing that she had ever wanted was to live a quiet and peaceful life, a lot of people think that she enjoys the drama in her life but she doesn't, sometimes she wished that she would be a normal person and live a normal life, without worrying about what the media says about her or what's going to be the next topic about her. That's why she had been avoiding guys especially marriage because she didn't want her husband to ask her if what they said on social media is true, maybe she was going to die single but it wasn't a bad thing because if she wanted pleasure then she knew where to get it
. "Hello, may I seat with you." Amale voice said behind her, she turned to look who it was. "Uhm, of course." She said sitting up straight, even though she didn't like the fact that he disturbed her thoughts she let him sit with her anyway. He was a good looking man. He had icy blue eyes and his skin was beautiful, he had short and dark hair and his height was average. "My name is, Jeremy, Jeremy John Carter... What's your name." He asked. "Shouldn't you at least ask how I'm doing John" She asked, calmly, she was surprised because usually she would have said it in a loud tone because every little thing annoyed her. "OH, sorry... How are you doing miss." He said with a smile on his face. "I'm doing good, how about you, Mr." I'm doing good myself miss.... May I know what your name is. "He said." Well of course, it's Barbara Johnson, and yours. "She said." Jeremy John Carter, are you here with anyone. "He asked." No, I'm here alone, well I usually come here alone because I like some peace and quietness. "She said." OH, really. Well I do too, I see you brought a surfing board, would you like go surfing with me. "Well of course, I would love too." She said. "Well, then let's go." He said and they stood up and the walked toward the blue ocean.
It was 5pm and the sun was starting to set, Barbara and Jeremy were sitting down and looking at the sun set. "Wow, it's beautiful isn't it." He said taking a deep breath. "" Yeah it is, I had a good time today. "She said leaning her head on his shoulder. For the first time in years she had felt something for a man, she had had a good time with a man, this wasn't something that she thought would happen today." I had a great time too, do you want to go and grab something to eat." Yeah sure, uhm there's a food vehicle nearby we can go there because I don't have much time left. " She said." No problem, please lead the way. "He said, and they walked towards the food vehicle, it was only five minutes away from where they were, so they got there in no time. They bought Lip-Smacking Peach & Whiskey Wings, they found a bench and they sat down enjoying their food while talking.
It was already 7pm and Barbara was preparing to leave and she also saying goodbye to Jeremy. After they were done exchanging numbers. "I'll see you around." She said. "yeah we will, I'll call you later tonight." He said. After a few moments she felt his soft hand on her cheek and before she knew it they were kissing, his lips were so soft and sweet, she was really enjoying this kiss, it had been a while since she had kissed someone with so much love and affection. He broke away from the kiss. "I'll see you later then" She said. "Yeah, bye." He said walking away and Barbara stood there, she was in cloud nine. 'is this what they mean when they talk about love at first sight.' She asked herself. She got into her car and she drove home.
On the other hand, Jeremy was talking to Oliver." So how did it go, did you find anything." Oliver asked. "Uhm.. Not really, maybe we were wrong about her, she's a nice person...." Oliver cut him off. "A nice person really, look Barbara is good at making people believe that she is someone that she is not... So please don't let her fool you, just get closer and closer to her until we find what we are looking for okay." He said. "Yes, I won't let you down." He said, walking towards his car and he drove home.
