"I don't know what it is that I did wrong... I don't know why he wants a divorce all of the sudden, why, why is this happening to me." Anastasia said wiping her tears, age had been crying nonstop, asking herself why he left her and for what reason. "It's okay, I'll make him give me a reason why he did this to you okay, it's going to be fine." Matteo said giving Anastasia a warm hug. "What makes you think that he'll tell you the reason why he left her, when he did not even tell his own wife, oops I mean ex-wife, or maybe you are the one that made him leave." Barbara said making her way towards them. "You do know how to make things worse don't you Barbara." Matteo said angrily. "I'm not like them Matteo, I'm not stupid and I'm not blind either so don't expect me to believe that you really to feel sympathy for her and as for you Anastasia you deserve all the bad things that are happening to you, maybe if you weren't a demon in an angle mask non of this would have happened and neither of us would be in this state today, well maybe grand.... "Before she could finish talking Matteo interrupted her." Barbara stop! What is is the matter with you, I've put up with your nonsense long enough now, I've had it with you, will you just grow up, if you have nothing good to say then just shut the hell up and get out!." Matteo shouted, he had already had enough of her, he did not know why she was like this, why she kept on adding salt on other people's wounds." Truth hurts doesn't it". Barbara said walking away. Matteo shook his head in disbelief, 'What is wrong with this kid?" he asked himself. Everyday he told himself that maybe someday she would change and finally be a better person but instead she was getting worse day by day, it was like she was sent by the devil himself to toture people with her words.
The next morning, Everyone woke up and just did their usual routine, they all sat down for breakfast but Barbara and Matteo were not there, nobody knew where they were, so they waited hoping that they would show up after sometime. They waited and waited but they didn't come. "Guys why don't we just start without them, maybe the are busy with something." Brandolyn said. "What could Barbara and Matteo be busy with together, we all know that Barbara can't stand anyone." Lydia said. "Who knows maybe a miracle happened today." Brandolyn said, as soon as she said that everyone started laughing because they all knew that there was no way in hell something like that would ever happen. Just as they were laughing they heard a gunshot coming from upstairs, they all stopped laughing and they ran upstairs, as they were running up the stairs, they heard another gun shot and it was coming from Matteo's room. They all rushed their and they found Matteo lying dead on the ground with blood coming out of his head, he only had a towel rapped around his waist, his hair was moist, and what surprised them was that there was a gun next to his right hand. nd his right side of the head was bleeding, could he have killed himself, they all asked themselves. Everyone was shocked they all couldn't move. As they were all standing there in disbelief Barbara walked in, "What are you all staring at?" She asked but they didn't answer, she looked at the direction they were looking and she gasped in shock, this was unexpected.
After some time, the police arrived to check the crime scene, they collected the evidence that they got. Barbara was sitting outside staring at the sky. "Excuse me." Jeremy said approaching her. "Yes... Jeremy what are you doing here." She asked confused. "Uhm...well I'm actually a detective, are you okay?" He asked looking at Barbara's eyes. "Uhm, yeah I guess. But I'll be fine, it's not like it's the first time someone had died in our family, I guess only bad things are bound to happen to us now." She said shrugging her shoulders. "It's going to be fine, don't worry we'll make sure that we find the culprit and we won't rest until we do." He said giving her a warm hug. "So have you found anything yet regarding my grandfather's murder." She asked, looking at his eyes hoping that he would tell her that he did. "Well... It's not an easy case to solve it we've already found some things too, I'll inform you if we find anything new. But for now you just have to wait and hope for the best." He said. "Yeah I guess you're right. You know life can be pretty unfair sometimes and full of surprises, you know we were a perfect family, we were happy, everyone wished to be like us and now... People are starting to question us, I've never really imagined that we would find ourselves in a situation like this any time soon or ever. "She said, sighing and looking up at the sky that was covered in dark clouds it looked like it was going to rain heavily today." Everything happens for a reason, I gotta go I'll call you later tonight when I get the time okay. "He said." Okay. "She answered nodding her head. He walked away. She watched as them coming out with his corps and they had covered him in a white blanket, the same way his grandfather was covered and his grandmother was covered. Things do change fast and unexpectedly. A while ago they were a happy and perfect family and they were best known for their lifestyle choices but today they are known for burying each other and mourning each other's deaths. 'Well I guess it's true when they say nothing lasts forever and all good thing comes to an end.' Barbara thought to herself and to her surprise a smile creeped on her face. 'What a tragedy.' She thought to herself, smiling at that thought.
