Mary had struggled to sleep the previous night. She reached for her phone to check for updates, but there were none. Strangely, she felt a sense of relief when Ray called, although she was still trying to piece together the clues.
After speaking with Ray, Mary and a team from the agency began tracking Bella's movements. They soon discovered that Bella had been to the police station. Rushing to gather information from the station, they were disappointed to find no further leads. It turned out that someone had picked Bella up. Mary started calling all of Bella's friends, but none of them had heard from her, heightening her worry.
After all, it wasn't impossible that Bella had trusted the wrong person and fallen into the hands of the Clay again.
