Josephine's uncle waited for another half hour before instructing two of his men to make a move, seeing that nothing had changed after observing the house for so long. He only sent two men because he didn't want to use all his resources without first testing the situation.
The two men returned fifteen minutes later, looking beaten up. This situation really looked strange.
"What happened?" Josephine's uncle asked, confused. Although he suspected something might go wrong, he didn't expect his men to return injured. The Agency would never let them escape, he thought.
"We ran into another group," one of the men explained.
"What do you mean, another group? I thought you confirmed there were no bodyguards?" he asked with a deep frown.
