The best way I could describe the monster now would be to call it a dragon without wings. Its fangs are jagged and sharp, and its skin is as shiny and sleek as steel. Its body is covered in spikes and its eyes are two glowing white dots like before, just larger to accommodate to its larger body.
I'm left speechless and trembling even though I'm supposedly safe behind this barrier, and yet Jeshan looks at the monster dead in the eyes with a dark and empty expression on his face. "Now I can kill you while you're at your best...and make you feel the despair you put her through..!" He flies down at the beast and swings his scythe down on it, but this time, the blade doesn't penetrate. The wingless black dragon looks up at Jeshan and smirks, giving him a dark cackle, but Jeshan doesn't seem fazed by it. "Don't go getting cocky..."
He punches the beast's torso and fires a much stronger ray of shadow energy than I've seen him fire yet, the monster's body instantly slamming up against the white wall, but it kicks its feet against it, flying back at Jeshan just as quickly and head butting him. Jeshan winces slightly, but quickly blasts the creature with another wave of shadow energy, blasting himself away from it in the process. The creature doesn't give him another chance to strike however, firing its own wave of shadow energy from its mouth, though it's much more chaotic and all over the place than Jeshan's is.
Jeshan dives right through the monster's shadow energy breath attack without flinching and punches his arm into the creature's mouth, firing a blast of shadow energy down its throat and causing an eruption of shadows to come out of its mouth, a gurgled screech of pain ripping through the creature. It bites down on Jeshan's arm and slams him into the ground, running and dragging him against it before throwing him at the wall, the spikes on its body starting to faintly glow and spark. Jeshan's arm spills actual blood, but a bit of that black substance forms by him and wraps around his arm like bandages, Jeshan quickly backflipping and catching himself just before he slams into the wall and instantly flying right back at the monster.
The monster lets out another gurgly roar and fires a volley of black lightning bolts at Jeshan as he flies however, Jeshan spinning left to right as he flies to avoid being hit by the lightning bolts, though at one point, they come at him from all directions. It's then that Jeshan spins like a drill and barrels right through the lightning, his black cloak keeping him safe and unharmed from the bolts, making the monster take a step back in surprise with a worried growl. Jeshan appears right in front of it as it does however, his blade pulled back. "What's the matter..? Not feeling so confident anymore..?"
He swings his scythe hard, sending the beast flying back as if it were the lightest thing on the planet, the monster slamming against the wall and Jeshan instantly appearing above it to smack it into the ground with his scythe, rapidly slashing at it and changing his scythe in a variety of different ways, so quickly I can hardly tell what their forms are. However, Jeshan is finally starting to make some cuts in the monster's skin, making it roar out in pain yet again and swipe its tail at him, but he blocks its tail with only one arm, slightly glaring into the monster's eyes before kicking it away from him, the beast flying into another wall with a loud crash.
The creature quickly stands back up and fires another shadow breath attack as well as multiple black lightning bolts, all in random directions, clearly starting to go crazy at this point. I scream and fall back as one of the bolts hits the barrier, but it doesn't even leave a scratch, and I sigh with relief. "So you're finally feeling it...fear..." Jeshan says as he begins walking toward the creature, combining his two scythes into one again with the shadow energy scythe in between. "Don't worry... It'll all be over soon..." The wingless dragon roars loudly and focuses all of its attacks directly on Jeshan, and Jeshan seems to get hit by all the shadow energy and completely disintegrate. I watch on anxiously, but I know in my heart that Jeshan is just fine.
Jeshan appears above the monster in the blink of an eye, holding up his blade and the shadow energy encasing him encases only the blade of his scythe, making it shine brilliantly despite how dark it looks. "This is goodbye..." Before the creature can even fully look up, Jeshan swings the scythe like a bat, knocking the creature away, and the blade of his scythe extends greatly and he swings it, firing off a powerful slash of shadow energy and slicing the creature directly in half, causing not only it to explode and splatter that black liquid everywhere, but also leaving a large black crevice in the white wall behind it.
The black substance from the creature's body slowly fades away, and out of nowhere, a jet black knife forms in my hands, making me jump. "W-What in the..?" The barrier around me disappears and Jeshan starts making his way over to me, wearing the same blank expression as always, but it's much darker than usual.
"J-Jeshan... I-I know I might seem scared and surprised, a-and I kind of am, b-but I still accept you for who you are, okay?!" Jeshan continues to walk toward me, looking straight at me as I speak.
"I will always accept you, no matter what you are! You'll always be Jeshan to me!" Jeshan's expression doesn't change, nor does he say a word.
"Jeshan...you protected me again...despite not knowing how I'd react... I know you're a good person, and that you still care for others..! For that, I-" The second Jeshan reaches me, he grabs my wrist, and, without warning, forces me to stab him with the knife in my hands. My eyes go wide and my arms and body slowly go limp, my arms falling at my sides as Jeshan releases my wrists, the knife sticking out of his gut.
"...I'm sorry..." That's all he whispers before stepping around me. I continue to just sit there, on my knees, completely and utterly dumbfounded. And then, once again, everything goes dark, and a few moments after that, I open my eyes to the bright blue sky up above. I quickly sit up and look around, gasping and panting for air, looking around every which way to get a look at my surroundings.
"Woah woah woah, chill! I know you're probably freaked out and all, but please, just remain calm..." I hear the voice of a young man say at my side. When I turn to look at the man, I don't recognize him, and so I narrow my eyes suspiciously.
"It's only right she'd be suspicious, considering we were too late, again..." Says the sad voice of a female I don't recognize either.
"What do you mean you got here too late..? W-What's going on..?" I look at the two confused.
"I just have one question for you before we answer that." The young man states.
"W-What is it..?" I turn my head to look at the man, but scoot away lightly.
He takes a deep breath before looking at me with a serious gaze. "Do you remember the boy named Jeshan?"
I pause for a moment, staring at the young man in utter confusion. "...Huh..?"
