Chereads / In Love With Three Men / Chapter 20 - Heartbroken

Chapter 20 - Heartbroken

Rae wakes up in the middle of night, seeing Dan getting up and getting dressed.

"Hey, didn't mean to wake you," Dan says while he puts his belt back on.

Watching that belt makes Rae blush. Because she was the one who took it off.

She was wild. Dan threw her to the bed, and climbed on top of her. He kissed her passionately, and his hands moved to her breasts immediately. She arched her back, and he kissed her neck, her chest, and then her breasts. He took her shirt off, and pulled her bra down to suck on her nipples. They didn't say anything to each other, although each move he made on her, she just wanted to say, "oh my gosh, I can't believe Dan Schneider is making love to me."

Rae unbuckled his belt after he unhooked her bra. As he put his hands on her breasts and kissing them at the same time, she took his belt off his pants and pulled his pants down hard.

Dan grinned, and he pulled his underwear down. He took Rae's hands, and put her hands on his crotch. He made a satisfying sound when she held on to him. Then he separated her thighs some more, kneeled between them, and pushed her panties to the side.

Dan then thrusted himself into Rae. She realized he didn't use protection. He continued to pushed into her and pulled back. And pushed again.

"Dan... oh... ah... condom."

"Don't worry, I have vasectomy done. No woman will get pregnant by me." Dan then kissed her on her mouth deeply. As he continued his rhythm into her.

Wow. Z was right. Dan does not want any string attached.

Rae enjoyed the sex. But she's not sure if she wants to continue doing this. Dan did say he wanted to meet up again.

Last night, Wes Warren thought his whole body was collapsing inside of him.

Wes Warren was just at another bar to tell Miranda that it was over. This time, he actually did it himself. He said to her coolly: not only did he not love her even one ounce, but he also thought even coming down here to meet her to tell her this was a huge waste of his time.

"Please go away and never contact me ever again," Wes stood up.

"Wait, what?" Miranda was shocked.

"If you ever come near my house again I will call police and file restraining order. Don't call me on my phone or my office ever. Please don't waste my time." Wes Warren walks out, leaving the very surprised Miranda.

He is still annoyed by the fact he just wasted five precious minutes of his life. But because he went down town to do this, he also got to see what really was going on with Rae's life.

He had not seen Rae in such a long time, and now he saw Rae with another man. Is that why Rae rejected him? Making that cruel phone call to his office to tell him they were through? Because she found a new guy?

Wes refuses to believe that's what Rae is like.

He goes to work the next day, acting like nothing has happened. But his heart has finally bled dry. He keeps thinking about this and he believes it is his revenge plan that backfired him.

Rae asked him to explain and tell her why he was with another woman—Miranda. Wes didn't say anything at the time, because he still wanted to finish the revenge plan. And, he wasn't ready to tell Rae about his past relationship.

But after Rae breaking things off like this, he regrets tremendously. He wished he had come clean and told her. Maybe he was ashamed to admit that he wanted to fool his former lover.

This doesn't matter anymore.

Unfortunately, Wes still doesn't know the phone call to his office never existed. It was Samantha that faked the whole phone message.

Wes drives home after work, and he is surprised that he subconsciously drives to her apartment. It's only 7 o'clock at night, so Rae is definitely not back. He turns off the engine and sits in the car for a minute. He decides to stand outside, so he gets out the car.

"Wes?"

Wes looks to his left. It's Rae.

"Rae!" Wes feels lots of emotions rushing to him.

"What are you doing here?" Rae asks.

"I... I don't know. What are you doing here? Aren't you at work?"

"The owner of the bakery is closing it for cleaning for today."

"Oh." Wes just nods.

"So, are you here because someone you know lives here?" Rae asks.

"Yes. You."

"Me? You are here to see me? But you didn't even know I was off today." Rae laughs, "What's going on?"

Wes is surprised that Rae seems to be that same bubbly and kind girl. It didn't look like she wanted to stop talking to him.

"I wanted to explain to you about what you saw now. I was ashamed. But I wanted to tell you now."

"Oh. You don't have to explain. You are entitled to see other girls."

Wes is a little speechless. She was so sad to see him dating another woman, but now she didn't seem to care. Must because her new man in her life. He feels the rage of jealousy. But he pushes it down.

"I see. I wish you well then." Wes's voice is bitter and sad.

"What?" Rae can sense that Wes is saying a final good bye. She suddenly panics. She doesn't want a farewell from him.

"I just wanted to say, I've missed you. That's all. But, I hope you are happier now without me." Wes then turns, opens the car door, and gets in.

"Wait," Rae runs over and knocks on his car window, "What does that mean?"

Wes lowers the car window, "You said you don't want me to contact you ever again. I won't any more. I didn't know why I drove here." Wes looks down and tries to compose himself from his bitterness, "I didn't mean to come here to bother you. I know you don't want to see me again, so I'm going to go now." Wes starts his car engine.

Rae is stunned. She's not sure what Wes was talking about. She didn't say to him to not contact her again. Why did he think that?
