"You left me to die! Jodan!"
I held my head with my bare hand as I felt the sensation of a headache. It was a sudden one but left a deep pain in me. What was it? I felt like my dead mother whispered behind my ears.
"Are you okay, Jodan?" I nodded to declare I was doing fine. Although Mr. Heriss didn't seem to thought the same way.
"You haven't eaten anything for days. Right?" I didn't know how to respond to this. Indeed, I didn't take foods that contain nutrition.
"you should rest more. I have a dead look on your face. If you go outside with that look you would get arrested immediately." What Mr. Heriss said was right. I wasn't doing great. Even now my head was shaking as I took the glass from the tea table. To avoid getting noticed, I placed the glass back right away.
I was much weak than earlier because of the fight yesterday. Thinking about that boiled my blood. I was being paranoid about that incident. How could I forget after what happened there? There's no way I could forget. I swear you, Jessica, I would take revenge for what that bitch did to you. She would face the same dead as you, Jessica. You just wait and see.
"So, what's your plan, Jodan?" This time Kelan asked me not Mr.Herris but also to look as if he was interested to hear it.
I uttered the words that I wanted, from my heart.
"I would go to the police." Each one of the persons including Mr. Heriss had an astonishing look.
"I would tell the police about all me so that they could further conduct the investigation. Don't worry, I wouldn't talk about you people, that's a promise. I couldn't kill that woman alone but the whole police department can. They have the technology and manpower." There was a serious tone in my voice this entire time.
"Thanks for your help. I really appreciate it. But I have to go now. If I told the police they might help me in some way. They can help me get revenge."
Sutashi busts out in laughter, He even went his way to hold his tummy. I didn't expect him to do such things.
"No wonder you are so slow wit, Jodan." He said in pity. It made me angry.
"hmm, What did you say?"
"I didn't ask you guys to save me. If you people left me there, the police might save me in one way or other." I uttered while crunching my teeth. I held a fist that was about to be laid on someone's face.
"They would certainly save you and also locked you in cells. Don't you think so?" Kelan said mockingly.
"Huh? Why would they? I didn't do anything wrong." I was able to argue with full power.
"You guys have done more than enough saving me. I don't need your help anymore. What I do is up to me. It's not you people's concern."
Mr. Heriss made a deep, deep sigh, "That's what you believe Jodon." said while facing me. Up until now, he was quiet, only listening to my argument
"I believe? Everyone knows about it. That woman killed Jessica." When I uttered that woman, a flash back of the incident came across me. My eye brow crossed with fury.
"Ah(sigh) So it came to this. Show it to him, Kelan." Mr. Heriss looked like he was in the process of losing the argument and was about launch his final evidence.
Kelan clutched a tablet before me. It was showing a live telecast of breaking news. A CCTV footage of—ME was there. Moreover, I was in suspect of the murder case of a young girl. Her name was Jessica.
I straightened my eyes wide and looked at Kelan in puzzlement.
"Is that me?" I asked him to get a confirmation.
"Truly you are, Jodan"
"The world isn't that simple like you think it is. It's a place for injustice people. The world we all desire is not what reality is. Reality often despairs us." Mr. Heriss was kind of gloomy or that's what I think.
"But I'm righ-"
"Even if I say you didn't do anything wrong. But if the other side of this world didn't see you. They would believe that you murdered. They would believe what they heard. That's reality, Jodan. The reality I hate, you hate, everyone hates. Isn't the world cruel?" His eyes were not like before, it was waving with a wide sense of despised.
"Even so, there might be some way. They are human after all. They would understand me. If I talk to them, I think I could make them prove my innocence."
"Why don't you understand, Jodan? Do you think they would believe your sketchy negotiation?"
"I have to do something. I have to avenge Jessica's death by some means or other. I can't waste my time loafing around!" I was enraged.
"Fine, let me give you two choices. First, involve yourself in the police and take your revenge. The second choice is you stay with us and we would help you get stronger over time. There's Kelan, Sutasi and Luca would help you to fight and teach you how to adapt to humans. Start a new life" Mr. Heriss gave me straight picks.
"I want my revenge now!" I spoke out my mind loudly. I turned my back on them and was on my way to head outside.
"You're weak! Jodan. They would kill you on spot!" I could hear Kelan's annoying voice.
"That ungrateful brat…" Sutashi sneered at me while looking right.
The last thing I said before leaving was,
"I don't believe you, folks. In the end, you're all one of them." I couldn't feel like staying any longer there. With that I chose
My clothes were enclosed with blood so Kelan must have changed them last night. I could feel the warmth of brand-new wearing. The cotton t-shirt was comfortable to wear. My empty belly growled as I walked on the road. For some reason, my body felt light and frail. I was too vulnerable to walk.

I hate this old fart; His mind is full of killing. Whatever I think eating a meal would solve everything. As I thought that finding a restaurant became my top priority.
