Kura stood near the table in her room, looking out the window. She watched Veni climbing a tree. This tree had always been there since years and years back. Ever since The Empire/Estate was created by the First Nakamura.
Veni was in his white wolf form. It was his job to watch over her all the time, since she was the Heir to The Empire/Estate. Veni laid on a tree branch that stretched out near her bedroom window. He looked at his Young Mistress through the window.
Suddenly, there was a loud crash from outside of Kura's bedroom. It sounded like somebody was trampling over furniture in the hallway. Kura whipped around to see a 5'4 male stumble into her doorway. It was her first cousin. Red.
Red ran his fingers through his hair to fix it. It had gotten kind of messy while he tried to make his way over to his cousin's room. He had himself leaned over with his right hand covering his face and his right hand on his knee. He suddenly busted out laughing about whatever was on his mind. His laughter echoed in the hallway.
"YOU PUSHED ME DOWN THE STAIRS!" He continued to laugh his head off.
Kura tilted her head to the side, wondering what he was going on about.
He stumbled into her room, continuing to laugh. "Help!" He shouted. "I've fallen and I can't get up!" He wheezed into more laughter.
"Calm down." She said as she moved over to him to help him walk. "Your going to find yourself falling off a balcony. What would your Head Butler do then?" She helped him over to the table by the window.
"I don't have a Head Butler." He joked. He had trouble sitting down. "Actually, I do. He can't ever find me, because I'm always running away from him."
"You piss him off way too much." She said and went around the table to sit down in the other chair.
"Oh, I know." He replied. "I was wanting to ask my father if I can go around without one."
"Your the Heir Duke." She reminded him. "All Heirs have to have a Head Butler. They become your right hand after you become Head Duke."
Red snorted. "Okay, so. Maybe I should keep him. I can't have him with me while we're at school, you know. Your starting Jr. High soon."
Kura didn't respond. She turned in her seat to look out the window. Veni was still there on the tree branch in his wolf form.
"Want me to teach you a few things about Jr. High, cus?" He chuckled.
Kura shook her head.
"You have to wear a uniform." He said, "Good luck with that."
"How does your father feel about me pushing you down the stairs?" She almost hesitated to ask this.
He shrugged, slumping in his seat. "He's still kinda pissed, he's also pissed at me. For shoving you." He laughed. "It was funny getting pushed. I didn't laugh when I faced your father and mine. It would of been a mistake."
"I try not to laugh in front of mine." She ways. "This time I didn't."
"Want to go down to the village?" He asked, sitting up in his seat. "The market is in town and the fish keeper needs help with his boat."
Kura heard this, but didn't answer him. She climbed into her seat and climbed onto the window seal. She was on her way to climb out the window.
"WAHHH!!! KURA, WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING!!" Red immediately got up and rushed over to her. He grabbed her by the shoulders and pulled her out of the window. "YOU COULD FALL OUT THE WINDOW!! YOUR FATHER--"
"But Veni is out there." She cut him off. She pointed outside at the tree branch.
Red huffed and moved closer to the window. He looked down at the tree and saw the white wolf glued to the branch. "What's he doing there?" He looked over his shoulder at Kura.
"Watching." She answered dryly. She climbed onto the window seal again. This time Red let her climb out. He watched her climb onto the tree branch.
He was on his way to climbing out when he saw Kura was okay doing this by herself. He watched her crawl over to Veni without an trouble.
Kura wrapped her armed around the furry white wolf, laying her head against his. She closed her eyes and stayed there for a bit. Veni moved his right paw over to move it to her shoulder.
"We're going to the boats if you wanna come too." She says with her eyes closed.
"Always." Veni replied. He allowed his Young Mistress to sit up before he switched out of his wolf form.
White mist poured out from his body and it quickly allowed him to re-shape into his human form. The mist formed his clothes, in which it seemed like it was being peeled onto his body. He re-shaped into his human form, sitting up. He looked over at his Young Mistress for a few seconds before looking over at Red.
Red watched from the window seal. He sat on the outside of it, his back seemed glued to the wall. "We ready to go?"
"Yes!" Kura replied.
Veni moved his left arm under her legs before lifting her up. He slid off the branch and fell onto the ground, landing on his feel.
Red jumped from the window.
"Let's be on our way now, Young Duke." Veni instructed Red. "Trey doesn't like to be kept waiting."
Red chuckled and followed Veni closely behind.
"Keep up," Veni said before beginning to sprint across the courtyard.
Red rushed after him, hurrying pass the 3,000 year old tree that stood high in the center of the yard.

It wasn't long til the three of them reached the harbor. Veni climbed up the wooden stairs the led to the pier. Trey would always be on a boat at the end of the pier. Trey was one of the trusted men who gathered things like fish and other species from the ocean for the entire village. Trey was a man in his 50's. He was the type of man who whenever he asked somebody to do a certain task, he wanted it down right. He enjoyed having The Young Duke and Young Lady work for him from time to time.
"Mr. Trey?" Veni called before stepping onto the boat that belong to the elderly man.
"Who's asking?" The person was quick to answer. His voice came from above, but he was nowhere to be seen.
"Nakamura." Veni answered, matter of factly.
A few seconds later, a man with a white beard, black and white navy hat and overalls stepped out onto the desk. He looked down over the bars that went all the way around the boat for safety. He examined the man and two younglings before answering.
"These two want to come help me fish?" He asked the man in the black tailcoat below.
Nobody answered, because the answer the fisherman would of received would have been the same answer Veni would always give him.
The old man chuckled. "Come come. I like the work the two put in."
