Kura and Red hurried inside the boat and went to take their seats in passenger 1 and 2 chairs. It took three people to get the boat started up and sailing. This large fishing boat didn't look like any normal fishing boat they Kura and Red would normally see at the boating docks. This was the kind of ship that they would see from the Estate/Empire's Navy ships.
Kura and Red would never ask about this. Trey probably had a good reason for it and Lord Nakamura wouldn't just let people do what they wanted. So maybe Lord Nakamura was the only person who knew about why Trey had such a boat. Still, Kura and Red wouldn't ask about it.
Kura flicked up and down and pressed a few switches and buttons, just as Red did. Two yellow lights appeared above where Trey was supposed to drive the boat. The yellow lights meant "Standing by"
Trey went came in, buttoning up his overalls. He went over to the driver's seat and sat down. "Check." I ordered Kura and Red. Whenever Trey said "check" this was the code for all systems.
"All systems green on passenger 1." Kura replied without looking up from the system and screen in front of her. She moved her small fingers across the screen, flipping through the system plates.
"Same here," Red said out loud. He over at Trey, knowing he was going to get a lecture from the 50 year old man for saying that.
Trey turned in his seat as the left light above turned green. He looked directly at Red. If he was angry or concerned, he wasn't showing it at all. "When driving or operating on a boat like this, one must say the codes, dear Young Duke."
Red lowered his head and grinned. He was glad that the fisherman only have him a heads up instead of a harsh lecture.
Trey turned back in his seat and began working on his screen. "We unite to write our code!" He declared.
"All systems green on passenger 2." Red said sarcastically. Then the right light on above Trey's transparent screen turned green. Red looked over at Kura and smiled.
Trey was one of the people who taught him and Kura how to drive a boat. Their fathers had taken them a couple of times to the Navy ships. They each sat in their father's laps as their fathers taught them how to drive and operate on the massive Navy ships. The ships were probably larger than any other normal wooden ship.
Veni stood outside on the deck, looking out onto the blue waters that held up the massive boat. As a Head Butler, he was supposed to help drive the boat. Where he was supposed to stand was in between the Passenger 1 and Passenger 2 systems. Trey was supposed to have his own person to do that, but that person wasn't here at the moment. So it was Veni's job to help out.
On Navy ships, it was the same. Since Lord Nakamura, The Dukes, and other Nobility had their own right hand men who used to be their Head Butlers, it wasn't supposed to be Veni's job at that time. Whenever Kura became the High Lady of The Destiny Child Estate/Empire, it would be Veni's job to help drive the ship.
"Head Butler! Get over here if you know what's good for you." Trey smiled. This almost seemed like he was threatening the man in the black tailcoat.
Veni lowered his head, closing his eyes and smiling. "Do you know who your talking to?" He moved away from the bars that went around the boat for safety and went into wheelhouse.
Trey didn't respond. Of Course he knew who he was talking to. He wouldn't of had said that otherwise. He turned his attention on the transparent screen in front of him as Veni passed him.
Veni stepped onto the platform and extended his arms out a little at his either sides. The motion censor below his feet sensed his presents and two thin circular doors slid open at either sides of his feet. Then two systems from both openings emerged and stopped before they reached his hips.
Veni began sliding his fingers along the green screens that came to life. His fingers danced her and there with pulsations appearing around the tips of his fingers as they connected with the circular green screens. "All engines are green." He says. "Heating and cooling systems are at normal levels and functioning properly. "Propeller is ready, siren, masthead, and antenna are green. We're ready to set sail."
Part of this was for the Heirs only, but if their Heirs have siblings, then the siblings would have to be taught to. Because if something happened to the First Heir, The Second In Line would have to take over and they would have to know the same things as the previous Heir before did. If there was a war and if The Second In Line and and the other siblings didn't know what the First Heir knew, then it would be the end of the Empire/Estate.
"All right," Trey said and he began pushing against the leveler and switches in front of him. In only a few seconds times, the engine hummed to life and it was time to set sail. Trey put his hands on the steering reel and began steering the boat.
Kura found it hard how the old man was able to steer such a massive boat with such a small steering wheel. She guessed it was because of how much material below the wheelhouse there was holding the things below together. If that made sense.
The massive boat began to drift forward on the blue waters and at that, the fishing boat hummed away from the dock.

The ship crew were allowed to roam about the ship or help out with the fishing after Trey had lowed the net into the water. There were other ways of fishing, but this was just something Trey wanted to do for now. He wanted to relax on his boat while his crew were off doing other things or on their day off.
Since The Heir Duke and The Heir Lady and The Heir Lady's Head Butler was here with him, there was no problem about it. He wouldn't have any trouble with them and their work was good for him. Kids didn't really bother him, but when it came to adults who didn't know what they were doing, it irritated them.
Kura stood at the right end of the deck, her hands on the bars. She looked down at the fish that swam in the water. Veni was nearby just in case if she ever fell in. Kura had never fell in the water anytime, so there was no need for Veni to worry. Still, he had to look out for his Young Mistress.
Red was somewhere on the other side of the boat. Probably messing with things that he shouldn't. If he was, then Trey would of heard it by now and get him for it.
Trey suddenly came up from behind Kura, "They say you can find Mermaids and Merman in these waters." He leans against the bars, resting against his arms.
Kura silently looked up at him, not know what to say. He heard stories about Mermaids and Merman alliancing with the Estate/Empire, but she had never seen them with her own eyes. "Mermaids?" She gently asked, "Merman?"
Trey nodded, his white beard bounding a bit. "Yes." He smiles a bit, "And they say if you ever meet one, they will grant you three wishes but at separate times."
Kura looked back out at the fishes swimming in the water. She wasn't sure if he was telling the truth or not. Then again she didn't know why Trey would ever lie to her. Or maybe he was just trying to make her happy or something. Sometimes children would believe anything, but Kura was careful about believing what people tell her.
Veni smiled, "I have seen a Mermaid once before."
This made Kura quickly look over at Veni. Maybe Trey really had been telling the truth.
Veni smiled down at his Young Mistress. She could tell in his eyes that he wasn't lying. He wanted to know more about this Mermaid he had seen. Of course she could barely tell if Trey was telling the truth or not, because she wasn't really around him for more than maybe 7 hours.
"Hey! Why can't I see a Mermaid or a Merman!" Red shouted, coming around the corner. "Why tell just her about it?! Is it because she's a girl?!"
Trey busted out laughing. "You'll get what's commin' to ya, dear Young Duke."
"What that a threat?" Red shouted, pointing up at the old man.
"You bet your ol' man it was."
Kura looked over at Red and stared for a moment before closing her eyes and giggling.
"We unite to write our code"
