Chapter 3 - The Beginning of Hella Rella

In the month of January 1, 1601, a young girl named Barbara Butler lives in a small town in Wiltshire, England known as Nomansland with her mother Marie and her twin stepsisters Courtney and Valerie. She was born in Germany and moved to Wiltshire at the age of six. Her father Lincoln Butler died from yellow fever while he was on a hiking trip with his friend Dudley. After the death of her husband, Marie took advantage of her youngest stepdaughter by forcing a lot of work on her, while her stepsisters were out catching butterflies in their backyard. "Mother, after I'm done with my chores, can I please play with my sisters?" Barbara pleaded. Marie looked at her daughter with a vicious stare yelling, "NO! Until you're done with the chores that I assigned you to do, you will be swapping the mess in the kitchen that you're sisters made!"

Barbara replied back with a stern look, "That's not fair! I'm always responsible for my sisters' shenanigans. How am I the only one who gets put to work?" Marie answers with a stoic look, "Well, the reason why I always order you around is that I'm too lazy to ask them to take responsibility. So, there's your answer. Wanna ask me something else or I'll whip you?"

"Whip me?!" Barbara asked with a scared look. "But, you can't do that. Punish them, not me. I don't deserve any of this."

"Don't you dare raise your voice at me, child" Marie scolds loudly. "You think just because you're a smart, kind, responsible young lady who thinks that her life revolves around wishing for a man to save her when a situation gets shitty? Honey, I hate to break it to you, but that idealistic nonsense sounds like my retarded husband was resurrected from the dead."

Barbara stood near her mother's bed with a shocked expression on her face when she mentions her father in an unforgiving tone. "Well, at least Daddy's not like you Mother. At least he cared about me before his death. I wish you had the decency to treat me like a real daughter rather than a wind-up doll!" Barbara cried.

"Humph. When you say shit like that, it reminds me how stupid my husband was when he tried to change my behavior while we were at the brothel" Marie added condescendingly.

"But mothe-" Barbara was about to confront her stepmother but Marie cut her off by demanding, "Don't say anything else. Do as I say or I'll lock you up in this room without dinner."

Without saying another word, Barbara continues her duties while Marie calls Courtney and Valerie to eat some supper. As she kept on scrubbing the floor, Barbara started to think in her head: "I'm tired of living in a family who always control small aspects of who you are as a human. I just want to be validated as a person who has dreams and ambitions, not just a worker who wears plain, ragged clothing. However, that dream will wait in the future. I'll just keep on scrubbing to avoid being punished."

"Hey, mother? Where's Barbara?" Valerie asked sarcastically. "Oh, she's still in her room crying like an abused mule" Marie answers sadistically. Courtney laughs, "HAHAHAHAHA! That's a good answer, Mom. Maybe that mule must've stub her toe while she was cleaning up our toy box."

"Hehehe! That's my girl" Marie added. "Somehow, you two will be great ladies to all the princes that want you two as their wives."

"I know right. Mother? After we eat, can you show us how to walk properly when I and Courtney head to the ball?" Valerie asked with a false sense of sincerity.

"Sure" Marie answered. "After you wipe your mouth, we'll go into the garden to practice."

Meanwhile, after Barbara was finished with cleaning up her and her stepsisters' bedroom, she runs downstairs to ask her mom about what food she wants to eat for dinner.

"Mother? I'm done cleaning my and my stepsisters' bedroom. What food should I eat for dinner?" Barbara asked. Her mother answers while shrugging her shoulders, "Nothing. How about you eat some grass outside, dear. I think that will be edible for you."

"Grass?" Barbara asked.

"You can't be serious. Why should I eat something off the ground when we already have food in the fridge? I'm not a cow, mother" Barbara replied.

"Well, in my lovely, delicate eyes, you're a cow. No offense but you really need a reality check. No person would want to sympathize with a pathetic bitch like you. You probably be better off fixing your appearance rather than being validated as a real human being", Her mother said with a sarcastic, snobbish tone. As she walks out of the house, she ends her argument with "Now, if you will excuse me, I will be heading out of the door to help my lovely daughters practice their walking skills. Enjoy eating crap for dinner, sweetie."

"Thank you so much, you ungrateful ass" Barbara replied with a sarcastic bite. But when she was about to sit down, she thought to herself, "Hold on, we're not done yet." She runs out of the house to confront her stepmother one last time. "Hey, Marie! You may think that I'm worthless and a joke to this family but you forgot one little detail. Unlike you and my dumb sisters, at least I'm a smart, intelligent, and honest girl who can stand on her own two feet. I don't need a man to come to my rescue and save me from every single damn situation. If Daddy was still living, he would've congratulated his own daughter for standing up to her bitch of a mother. I wish you felt the same way."

"Stop right there, Barbara" Courtney confronted. "Who do you think you are judging mom like you're some goody-two-shoes brat who grew up in a conservative household?" "Can't you see that you're an embarrassment to the Butler family? We were just fine as a trio until your stepdad brought you here. Why don't you just get out of our sight and commit suicide?"

"Yeah, that's right" Valerie added. "How about you just go back to London and jump from Big Ben? That way we don't have to deal with your bullshit anymore. HAHAHAHAHA."

"I was born in Germany, you jackasses!" Barbara snapped.

When Courtney and Valerie were treating Barbara like utter crap, Courtney stops her practice by proceeding to throw dirt and rocks at Barbara's face which causes her to cry. "Oh, what's the matter, Barbara? Valerie said. Did I just make you cry? Well, too bad." "Maybe if you weren't such a stubborn little goat, we wouldn't be putting our hands on you now, wouldn't we?

"Yeah, throw some more rocks at her. Make her cry like a dog being kicked in a pound" Valerie added while Courtney continued to throw rocks and dirt at Barbara. As Courtney and Valerie were abusing Barbara, Marie tells them "That's enough, girls. You did a good job." She looks at the injured Barbara with a wicked smile saying, "There's your answer. Have a blessed day you little shit." As Marie and her stepsisters walk back into the house, Barbara runs into her bedroom crying.

"It's not fair. It's just not fair." Barbara cried. "I have a purpose in life too. Why would they treat me differently?"

"All I wanted was to be validated, not abused and neglected", Barbara cried as she was wiping her tears away. "I wish there was something I could do to prove that I'm worthy enough to be human."

"Well, maybe I can help," a voice said randomly.

"Wait, who's said that?" Barbara asked confusingly.

"I did. I'm a succubus named Lilith, and I came from Hell", Lilith announced. "How did you know I was here?" Barbara asked again. "Were you following me? What's your deal?"

"For starters, we demons and succubus communicate through thought rather than language" Lilith answers. "When you were running to your room, I couldn't help but notice the tears you shed on your pillow."

"My pillow?" Barbara asked with confusion. "Wow, I guess I'd really left a trail on here. But wait. Do you really think that you will help me?"

"Sure" Lilith replied.

"But, can I....really trust you to help me?" Barbara said worrying about Lilith making a deal with her.

"Of course. All you have to do is sing this nursery rhyme" Lilith told Barbara. "What nursery rhyme?" Barbara asked. "Hella Rella's Coming for You", Lilith answers.

"Hella Rella's Coming for You?", Barbara asked. "Yes," Lilith answers.

"Ok. I'll do it" Barbara demands.

Barbara: Hella Rella's Coming for You, Coming for You, Coming for You. Hella Rella's Coming for You, so you better protect your well-being.

After Barbara sang the song, the bedroom becomes blood-red as a portal to Hell opens in front of Barbara's eyes. "What is this?" Barbara asked. "The portal to Hell, it's where our boss lives," Lilith said.

"Come on, grab my wings," Lilith says. "Okay, let's do this" Barbara said.

As Barbara holds onto Lilith's wings, they enter into Hell where they meet the chief himself........SATAN!!
