" You know Mr. Harrow, I believe you have rehabilitated yourself in a short span of time. Congratulations on your discharge."
The head psychiatrist extended his hand with a smile while Harrow shook it with a grin on his face. He then bowed toward the staff member while leaving the hospital in a flash.
" I never imagined myself being a mortal but things would happen, huh?"
A taxi stopped before him while Harrow mumbled inside his mouth, entering it without any thought. However, soon he found a familiar silhouette, sitting in the taxi with him while he glanced at him with surprise.
" I never thought you would be released this fast, Ammit. You sure know how to surprise me?"
Ammit gritted her teeth while holding herself back down to avoid humiliating herself. She took a deep breath to calm herself down, knowing things would turn bad for her.
" So, you came here to finish your job, Khonshu even I became a mortal. As expected from my old friend."
Khonshu chuckled at her words, crossing his legs with elegance. His cold blue eyes glanced into her eyes with a mixture of pity and arrogance as he opened his mouth.
" You know I won't let you go freely under my watch, right? Besides, we have another guest who is here to finish his matter."
The front seat suddenly turned back while Ammit opened her eyes wide with surprise because she never imagined he would be there.
" You look wonderful, Ammit. I never thought I would be seeing you like this."
Ammit laughed dryly at his remark, understanding who was behind this huge incident of her fall and pioneered her fall. There was no chance that Marc would escape Duat without Khonshu paying the price and she was right.
Cold sweat ran down her back as her legs quivered even though she was a warrior goddess. The God in front of her was even more dangerous than Khonshu in his prime and he was more ruthless and merciless.
" Anubis! You were behind this. Khonshu, you didn't let Marc and Steven go by the looks of it and Anubis made a deal with you and Arthur.
I finally understand why I lost in the first place. I was just a pawn in your game Anubis. You were after my soul in the first soul, not precisely my power."
Khonshu didn't say anything except observing Anubis who sat there with a smile while holding his staff. His cold eyes were attracted to Ammit while the surrounding air got colder.
" You became bolder, Ammit. I don't recall allowing you to speak. Well, this will make things easier.
Khonshu, I will give you a chance to end her life while I will collect her soul like usual."
Khonshu remained silent, pondering for a moment before reaching his decision. His mind quickly analyzed the situation, knowing he was far from defeating Anubis who was one of the strongest gods in the entire divine realm.
Hence, the most logical choice would let him do as he wished but he had to prevent Anubis from getting her full power for his power would become too much.
" Fine, on one condition. You must promise that you won't use her power for murder. I won't allow you to do that."
Anubis pushed his cane toward Khonshu, agreeing with his proposal to show his acknowledgment. However, Khonshu didn't notice something in his eyes.
Meanwhile in Eden
" The extension portal toward the new worlds is progressing smoothly. But we have detected omega-level threat worlds that could kill our agents and personnel."
Arthur waved his hand at Star's hologram while clenching his fists tightly because he felt the disappearance of divine power near the mental asylum where he placed Ammit.
" I will go and scout them, personally. Don't allow others to enter! Also, make sure that you keep an eyes on the gods. Especially Greek and Egyptian pantheons."
He turned around with a swift move while looking at the capsule in the room. The percentage on the capsule showed 95 percent as a body floating in it.
" Soon, we will move, Star. I will attack all villain points and eliminate remaining threats in our world before chaos ensues us."
Star bowed his head toward Arthur with respect, agreeing with his words.
