" Someone help us!"
Steven shouted in the hall while Marc looked around with a serious face because he saw many different rooms yet he wasn't able to open none of them despite their effort or could see what was inside of them.
" I think we are lost, Marc. How did you get here?"
Steven asked with a bewildered face, not knowing what to do in this type of situation. He thought he was doomed but he was saved by Marc and now they were stuck in this space or mental asylum in their mind.
" Should we go that way?"
Before Marc tell him yes, a shout comes out from that area which gives them irks. They looked at each other with helpless faces, nodding in agreement.
" Yeah, that isn't the way. Maybe this way?"
Another scream came out from that area, indicating it wasn't a safe direction either. Thus, both of them fell into silence while thinking about what they should do now. However, their dilemma didn't end there as they heard a loud thumping noise from the opposite direction.
" Should we go now?"
Marc nodded at his words, running the other way while escaping what was coming to them, yet in this place, they couldn't run far. It was like their legs had been chained to the ground and they were unable to move.
" Quick, this room."
Marc pulled Steven aside, closing the door with a quick reflex. He then put his hands on his mouth, looking outside the window with a pale face. The cold sweat ran through his back, knowing this thing wasn't a simple creature due to his honed instincts.
The thumping noise grew louder and louder, reaching their room. The duo's pupils shrunk into dots as they held their breaths but just as it was about to leave the area, the noise of a fart went out.
" Shit!"
Marc cursed out loud, imagining they were screwed here thanks to Steven. The door frame was instantly crushed under the immense pressure, creating dust around them.
A huge creature stood before them with a calm face, looking at them. It opened its huge mouth, seemingly capturing their breaths.
" There you are, Marc. Oh, look at that! You have found, Steven."
The jaws of two of them almost hit the floor because it wasn't their enemy. It was Taweret who was she was searching for them all the time since she felt their presence in this realm.
" What are you guys looking at? Let's go. You mortals always daze at the wrong time."
Taweret pushed them outside the realm with her power. The blinding light covered their bodies as they opened their eyes to the real world.
" Heck, where am I? Am I alive?"
Steven touched his body to check if anything missing, thankfully he was fully intact and he had clothes on himself this time.
" You woke up, princess? The time is ticking and you are sleeping."
Then he saw Arthur who was biting an apple with a calm face while Samone and Layla standing next to him. The juices of the apple were sprayed on his face but he didn't get angry. Instead, he extended his hand to get one from him and surprisingly Arthur gave it to him.
" We don't have much time, Steven. Ammit has been released from her seal while other gods are stuck in the upper realm.
You need to find Arthur Harrow and bring him to us before Ammit kills all of us."
Steven's head buzzed from the sudden information but fortunately, he managed to tidy himself in time.
" He is right. We need to move now, Steven Grant."
The familiar voice reached his ears and his eyes grew bigger from the surprise. He couldn't believe that Khonshu was standing before him without any hint of damage. Heck, he even didn't have any speck of dust.
" You seemed to be shaken from me. Do I look that scary?"
Steven almost hit this rascal God but he held himself in the last minute because surely this God would kill him if he did so.
" Shut up! It is me who released you. Don't have any funny ideas!"
Arthur said coldly while teleporting others with him to the pyramid of Giza.
