Arthur looked at the goddess with a calm gaze while the latter observed him and Khonshu with interest.
One was her former friend while the other was the greatest hero in human history and as a goddess, she could see why Arthur was regarded as one because his soul was pure and solid, unlike another mortal.
He was an existence that defied the logic of life and death, existing in living land as a living ghost like a human despite being a soul.
" What an interesting combination! In my life, I have never seen such an abomination or a singularity like you.
You are a special mortal. I like you. So, let me give you a chance to both of you. Join me and we will change this world.
Look at these humans! Do you think they deserve your protection? They will do the crimes and sins over and over again. Thus, before doing that I will judge them to stop their evilness.
As guardians of justice, you should understand my intent."
Ammit extended her hand toward them with a smile on her face but the duo didn't take her hand.
" You lost your senses, Ammit. We are no gods of fate or life and death. We are the guardians of them, not judges. If you believe in judging them before they commit sins, you are being radical and ignorant."
Khonshu said with a grim face while clenching his staff. His blue eyes looked into her eyes to persuade her to stop because Ammit wasn't an evil goddess. She was a goddess who loved humans more than anyone before being betrayed by them and being sealed into the stone for ages.
" I agree humans can be treacherous but who are you to decide our fates? Even if they commit sins I will redeem them and even if they were damned in the first place, I will save them.
This is no place for gods to intervene."
Arthur crossed his arms, looking at her with a calm face. His eyes turned golden color while the air around him distorted from the heat.
" So be it then. I will deal with you first, then change this accursed world to a better one."
Ammit spoke coldly while opening her mouth. To their horror, thousands of souls fell into her mouth, giving her strength that was beyond any normal gods.
Currently, she was mimicking what devils and demons do in the first place and she was gaining power from the souls.
" Stop it!"
Khonshu immediately rushed toward her to stop her but her body grew bigger, eventually turning into a giant that was more taller than pyramids.
" No one can stop me. I shall cleanse this world."
Her giant tail swept Arthur and Khonshu as both of them were thrown into the pyramids. The dust rose from the ground while Ammit grew stronger because Arthur Harrow managed to seal off other gods and no gods were there to stop her.
" Arthur, find a way to stop her. I will buy a time for us and Steven. We must stop her before she kills all mortals in the city."
Khonshu used his power to grow his body to match her size as it was nighttime but even so the difference in power was still there.
" Toss me up!"
Arthur got on his palm while Khonshu tossed him up to the sky. Then he grabbed his staff and bashed the head of Ammit while later biting his arm.
Her powerful jaw took hold of him like glue as she threw him once again. Her foot came crashing down to his head, making him dizzy while Ammit hit his head with her fist.
After doing that she hurled her tail at him, destroying the pyramid in the process.
" You are weak, Khonshu. You no longer possess the power that could rival the great gods."
Just as she was saying that she heard the whispering sound. The sky brightened under Arthur's power as his sword glowed like a shooting star.
" Shooting star!"
Arthur used his gravity power to send himself up to the exosphere, dropping into the ground with more g power which equaled to more pressure and speed. His acceleration force was as powerful as a meteor that could destroy the entire city.
Boom*
The bright light hit Ammit, colliding with divine power.
