" Child, you desire our power, so that you can protect these mortals. I praise you for your courage and kindness, but do you think you can inherit our power?"
Hela raised her eyebrows while looking at Jeanne and Lothar who were sitting before her. Jeanne seemed to be in a complicated situation as her expression was sore and Lothar's eyes were filled with determination to get more powerful. He knew among children of Arthur, he was the strongest after Kyle and his potential was powerful enough to rival his eldest brother.
" Do you realize your material family has problems? Also, your father won't agree with your request to become prince of Helheim. After all, you are the sole inheritor of the throne after Loki. He will probably pass his throne to you."
Becoming a prince of Helheim meant he would voluntarily give up his throne of Asgard and Hela understood her siblings and her people loved Lothar.
There was no way that they would allow him to do it.
" Sister, please give him a chance. He can inherit both of them. He just wants to protect people like his uncle and father."
Jeanne begged for her mercy but Hela was indifferent to her request since this was out of her jurisdiction. Even though she valued Arthur's women and listened to her family, a public matter was different from a private matter.
" Mother, I know you expected greatness from me. I know you believed I would lead a new generation of Asgard, but please. Without the power and wisdom of my family, I am a nobody. Brother Kyle is wise and sharp, James is resourceful and straightforward and Alexia is shrewd and agile. I lag behind them when it comes to my resolution. I thought I finally found my calling, but I was too weak to protect it. I couldn't fight like my father or think like Uncle Loki. I couldn't stand like Uncle Thor and judge like you. Please, give me trials, so I can rid of my weakness and become a worthy successor of you and Father."
Lothar bowed his head to his mother, waiting to hear her answer. Hela who saw his dumb son finally giving up his stubbornness, sighed with a defeated look. She could only curse her siblings for being an influence on her son.
" Fine. I will personally teach you to become the strongest God in Asgard, surpassing your stupid uncles and myself. Additionally, you will inherit the throne of Helheim."
A green wisp escaped from her palm as it encircled Lothar. The burning blood coursed through his veins as he grimaced with pain, but it was all for his good in the end.
Jeanne who knew the tribulations of God, looked at him with worry, not knowing what to do except close her eyes. She knew Arthur cherished his children and he wouldn't allow them to go through something painful like this because he went through hell and he didn't want his children to do the same.
" Now, let's talk. Who dared to attack our base? We are here for help, not war. If they dared to attack once, they would do the same again."
Hela's voice sent chills to the trembling workers. They hid their expressions as they tried to escape from her sight, but she didn't allow them to do so. Failure of Syria meant failure of Eden in the first place, so she decided to involve herself in it. People thought Eden was weak after the incident of robbery and this time they would think the same. Therefore, she was here to cut down those bastards that dared to bear their fangs to them.
Although Jeanne wanted to argue with her, she had no power to do so since this matter involved rebels and terrorists in Syria. Moreover, Hill personally dispatched Hela who oversaw multiple areas in Eden as a new administrator. She was here to punish and eradicate those who decided to massacre their people and citizens.
" Jeanne, prepare for your things. You will be dispatched to another area after clearing a few things with me. We will another person to here."
Hela closed her mouth, showing papers that she was transferred to Ukraine where they requested their assistance in rebels.
Jeanne hung her head low as she bit her lips with no words.
