Chapter 557 - Chapter 71 This is my justice

Agh*

The men screamed with despair, facing countless otherworldly creatures that went out from the ground. The creatures shackled their feet and dragged them into a hoke that seemed to have no bottom. Pitch-black holes raised the hair of men as they tried to run away from these monsters, but they were everywhere.

" Cry and beg for your pathetic lives. Feel the darkness gnaw your flesh as dead drink your blood. This is my punishment. If you can't take mercy of light then take the punishment of darkness. My husband might be merciful to put you away, but I am different. I am the queen of Helheim."

Hela dragged the struggling man to her realm as she threw him into a hole without any expression on her. Countless hands grabbed his body and dragged him into the realm of the dead as he wailed with fury and regret.

He didn't understand why he was going through this and what he had done. However, everything was too late as the man departed to the realm of the dead alive. He would be tortured there forever and had no chance to get out or see the light of the mortal realm.

" Hela, don't you think it is too harsh? We can send them to the prison."

Jeanne said lightly while throwing one man into the cage. She judged this man was worthy of mercy and she believed it was too much for him. Perhaps, her kindness was getting in her way, but she didn't back down in front of fierce tigress.

Hela pondered for a while and thought about her decision. Although she was a goddess of death like before, she had a husband now. Arthur and her son might scold her, so she decided to listen to her for a while, but that didn't mean she would allow all of them to escape since she could perceive their sins.

" Half of them are yours, saintess. I will take half of them."

Hela spoke her title, showing her working attitude. Jeanne nodded at her words and followed her from her behind. Unlike in the past, Hela didn't wear a thorny crown as her head had a simple black crown on it and she wore tight green clothes with black which was similar to Loki.

The same went for Jeanne. She still wore her armor and her hairstyle was the same, but she now had an extra sword on her belt and she got gadgets for her missions. They found their base quickly thanks to her gadgets.

Meanwhile in Chile

Gilgamesh looked at his enemy with a frown. This mage was a tricky one and he seemed to know about his technique. Moreover, he didn't have an ounce of bloodlust which was weird because other criminals or villains either gave huge bloodlust or fear but there was nothing in him.

" You! Why did you steal from us and what is your purpose? Do you think you can escape from me?"

Gilgamesh spoke calmly while observing his movement. The man raised his head and smiled.

" As expected from the man who could rival gods. Do you think Eden can exist without Arthur? You all had different ideas and goals. Each hero believes in different things and has different desires. They aren't pure and innocent like others paint themselves. They are selfish and crude like us."

He spoke calmly, conjuring spells to block incoming weapons. His words didn't irritate Gilgamesh because it was the truth. Perhaps if it wasn't for Arthur, heroes would have fallen out in the first civil war among themselves and been defeated by Thanos or other powerful beings.

Even he wouldn't have a chance to become a man like he is today.

" You are right, stranger. Without Arthur, there would be no guardians and Eden. But, you are mistaken for one thing. Even selfish people unite in front of great dangers much less heroes. The world has enough people to meet its expectations, so shut your mouth and surrender or else I will put you in Phantom Zone."

A large number of swords bombarded him, razing everything in its way. The man was dodging from his attacks, but his speed was decreasing due to his stamina being constantly drained. He put his hands together as he chanted.

" Celestial magic: Realm of Prison."

Huge chains grappled Gilgamesh down as he was caught off guard. He tried to break free from this magic, but he couldn't do so.
