Chapter 555 - Chapter 69 I am a god

" Quickly! We need to take care of those pests from outside for our glory."

The Syrian man urged his men to hasten their movements as they silently went to the church where people were gathered. They saw normal people laughing in the streets while talking about their daily lives, unlike other Syrians who were escaping from the country.

They seemed to be genuinely happy as they sang and danced together, but that wasn't going to stay that long because they got the news that the monstrous woman who was guarding the temple went out for a breather, and the church wasn't protected by anyone.

" Ransack their food and supplies. Don't leave any witness alive!"

The man shouted, shooting at the innocent civilians who were caught off guard. They cried out with pain and despair as a hail of bullets showered down on them. The blood of their people splattered on their faces while cries of death reached out their ears.

" Fariha! My daughter, run!"

The middle-aged man shouted, pushing away the masked assailants with his bare hands and tattered man. The warm blood of the man trickled down on her face as the girl blanked out.

" Look at her! She is going to be a beauty when she grows up."

One of the men licked his lips as he approached her. The girl seemed to regain her mind, trying to wrestle out of his arms, but she was nowhere as strong as him.

" Grind* Let her go!"

Lothar dropped his snacks, looking at the messy square where once he sang with people. He saw the dead people who were probably struggling to run and he recognized most of their faces.

" He is the son of that whore! Kill him!"

The captain ordered his men to shoot him. The bullets mercilessly shredded his clothes, revealing tattoos hidden inside his body. Lothar's eyes filled with rage as a red cloak and helm with rings appeared. He pulled his sword from his sword as he lunged at the men with great speed. Before, they could think Lothar appeared before them and slashed their hands clean while they screamed in their pain. Blood splashed, creating a river on the ground as he painted himself with the blood of his enemies.

" Don't move!"

The man who tried to rape Fariha, held her by the neck, but when he tried to find him, he only saw a headless body as it fell down. Lothar gently put Fariha down as he muttered something to her ears.

Focus in her eyes lost into darkness, showing her passed-out look.

" You messed with a god! As an Asgardian prince and a god who governs war, life, and death. I will judge your sins in the name of my grandparents, parents, and my family. I will rip apart your treacherous hearts and banish your doomed soul into Helheim as you will suffer there forever for the rest of your miserable time."

Lothar gridded his teeth, showing his anger for the first time. He was a hero who admired his parents and uncles, but he was also a god. He would show mercy towards those who deserve it and he would judge others since he was a god of war, life, and death.

However, he didn't like his authorities, believing they were too violent or extreme. After seeing this tragic sight and as a protector of this place, he decided to use his authority at last.

" A monster!"

The fear shrouded their bodies, locking their moves. The captain saw green lights coming out from his body and red lights grabbing his legs. The plea for mercy didn't escape from his mouth as he was dragged into the realm of the dead.

" Lothar!"

Jeanne rushed to the square, looking pale. She looked around and saw corpses of her people when she reached here. Especially, when could tell his son was using his power to banish those killers into Helheim where Hella ruled.

She quickly approached her son and hugged him into her bosom, stroking his hair. The young boy cried out with despair and rage because he failed to protect those smiles. He recalled the faces of those people who gifted their blessings.

" Cry, son, cry. I am sorry, I am sorry. I am a failure as a mother and a saint."

Jeanne whispered, hiding her face filled with sorrow.
