Chapter 427 - Chapter 54 Proximity of the spear distance

Vision groaned as he looked at his enemies. They had perfectly studied their weaknesses. Especially since they weakened Wanda who was a rare magic user.

" You should have stayed in your city, robot. Your guardians won't be here soon."

A spear-holding alien said while looking at him with contempt. His spear already stabbed Vision multiple times. Thus, Vision wasn't in his peak condition. He was injured and his functions weren't operating fully and the Infinity stone wasn't responding to his will.

" You are wondering why you can't use your power. You are our creation in the first place. Without your existence, we couldn't hope to know about the heroes of this planet."

He said, aiming at him. Vision weakly grabbed his arm as he gritted his teeth. He knew he would die here if he dragged him to exhaustion.

" Aren't you finished yet?"

A tall woman appeared from the building. She was holding a spear like him. Her stature was large enough to tower over him.

" Wanda!"

Vision shouted, hoping she would be alright. Fortunately, Wanda was still alive. Her arm was broken and she was limping to her side.

" I am alright. I can still fight."

She spoke while her eyes were filled with hope. She was expecting her teammates would show up since she pressed her distress signal.

" They will probably show soon. We have to persist a little more."

Wanda continued, glaring at them. She raised her hands and red magic circles appeared next to her. Her chant was silent as Arthur's, but she wasn't quick enough to complete her spell.

" Proxima, kill her. We don't need them to be alive. Their existences are a threat to our liege."

The man said throwing his spear at them. He immediately followed his spear with incredible speed and kicked Vision to the building. Wanda tried to shield him, but Proxima dissolved her spell with a strange device and she rained countless energy spears on her. Wanda protected herself from the rain with a desperate look.

Bang*

She heard a loud sound of crashing and sirens of the cars. People were screaming with terrified looks from the sudden attack. They had no idea what was going on.

" Poor soul, you will die here on my hand."

Proxima licked her lips with amusement. She was eager to behead Wanda who was known as being the most talented mage on Earth.

" You dare!"

Wanda exploded with rage. Her rage was fueling her power, but she was forcefully burning her remaining energy.

Tremor of destruction reached across the entire city. Vision couldn't do anything, but take a beating from the man. His body was destroyed beyond his self-regeneration.

" This is the end."

Crunch*

The man said, stepping on him. He was ready to stab his spear down.

Bang*

Suddenly his spear was blocked by some shield with a star in its center. Steve came to the rescue with his comrades.

" You have to pass me before killing him."

Steve grabbed the man and threw him to the ground. He forcefully choke himself and kicked him. The alien spit out blood for the first time.

His head was spinning around as he tried to gauge the situation.

" You are having a break in the middle of the fight?"

He heard another voice from his behind. He turned his head around and saw an elf with battle armor and dual swords. His eyes were filled with rage as he looked at him as if he was dead.

" You will pay for what you have done to my friend and people."

Kyle roared, slashing his sword down. Unfortunately, the man avoided his sword at a narrow distance. He was panting while blocking two of the greatest heroes on earth.

Kyle didn't give him any chance to relax. He immediately conjured an attack with Steve. He slashed his sword to his left and Steve bashed him from the right. Their attacks were fatal and deadly against the man who had no experience fighting against them.

Steve grabbed his leg and pushed him while Kyle stabbed him to his head. The man rolled on the ground to escape from their combo. He understood he had met a terrible combination of the team as he was on the losing edge.
