Kyle was observing Corvus closely while using his mana eyes. As a unique bloodline holder, he possessed the power of Arthur's eyes and superior mana. Therefore, he had more affinity than other elves with mana.
" Something is strange, uncle. He is recovering too fast."
Kyle said, brandishing his swords. His eyebrows were tightly knitted together.
Steve also noticed the unusual nature of Corvus. He raised his shield to cease fire for a moment.
" Indeed, but he must have been using his stamina until now. We can probably wear out him in a few minutes while using coordination."
Steve suggested to continue attacking and he was correct about Corvus who was using his stamina to heal himself.
Corvus knew he couldn't drag anymore as Steve and Kyle were getting more coordinated and he was at the disadvantage. The terrain and opposite heroes were all bad matches against him who utilizes his speed to his advantage.
" Damn it."
Corvus tried to hide his anxiety while looking for a way to take back to the stone. However, he couldn't see a single opening in his vision since both Steve and Kyle were at his left and right sides. They were perfectly guarding against his speed.
" Proxima, what is going on?"
He used his communication device to inquire about what was happening to his wife.
" Situation is getting out of hand. I am ambushed by two humans who possess great weapons. Although I kill them, it will probably snap the mage's mind. We have to retreat to the ship and tell this to our liege."
Proxima briefly explained what was going on. Corvus frowned as he assessed the overall situation. He knew he didn't have that much time since their reinforcement would be coming here soon and if that happens, there is no way they would make it alive. Hence, he immediately decided to forfeit. It wasn't worth dying here without any achievements.
" Retreat then. I am calling off this battle."
Corvus said, sharply looking at the duo with his eerie eyes. His eyes were solely focused on their weapons and their bodies. He had to admit they were tougher than the initial data had said.

Proxima appeared next to him and disappeared with him to nowhere. Steve blocked Kyle who was trying to chase them.
" Stop. Our fight would raze this city to the ground. We can't be careless about the situation. Besides, only you can defeat him and I can't. My power isn't nearly powerful as his. I can feel he was holding back to check our power."
Steve analyzed the overall situation with his logic. He was precisely calculating what could happen if they continued to fight here. Probably he or Vision would have died here.
" Are you alright?"
Steve said, extending his hand with his usually bright face. Vision sighed slightly and grabbed his hand.
" If you were a little late, I would probably be killed by them. They had intel about our abilities."
Vision groaned while touching his wound with a deep frown. He couldn't believe how his body was easily stabbed and cut by Corvus.
" You are in a bad shape. We need to go back to Eden and start a meeting with other leaders. Father is still recuperating at the moment."
Kyle spoke, sheathing his swords. His eyes turned normal and he was looking at Bucky and Sam who were panting while carrying Wanda.
" Good idea. Skynet should be arriving soon. We can also use Red Queen and White Queen to oversee the orbit."
Steve agreed with his proposal. He knew they were after Infinity stones. So, he planned to surprise them with their forces. Additionally, Arthur would probably recover soon.
Steve was confident about Arthur's strength and Asgard's people. Moreover, they had other dimensional beings.
" Is the teacher alright?"
Wanda said, banding her arm with a bandage that she got from the smashed pharmacy.
" He overused his power against an all-father-level being. He has recovered all of his physical injuries in a few minutes since they weren't that serious."
Kyle recalled seeing his father's monstrous dexterity. He had to admit that Arthur was almost immortal even though he was a human.
" That is good. Before that, we had to do something about the Infinity stone."
Wanda said looking at the glowing yellow stone in the forehead of Vision.
