Chapter 420 - Chapter 48 Intruders in the vault

Lorelei looked around her with distress because she was infiltrating the heaviest guarded place in Asgard. Moreover, she and her sister will be executed if they are caught by Hela who was overseeing the realm, unlike her merciful father who imprisoned them.

" I shouldn't have listened to your words. We will be killed by your madness."

Lorelei said, looking at her sister with anger on her pretty face. She didn't want to die young. She wanted to marry someone and have a nice family. After settling down she wanted to stay like a normal family, not as a sorceress who was known for her crimes.

" Oh, shut up! We are in the middle of our success. As long as we can get the items, we can free the prisoners and escape from this hell hole."

Amora shushed with a bead of sweat on her forehead. Her magic hasn't recovered yet, so she can't fight against either Hela or Arthur. Therefore, she chose to do the most logical thing and that was stealing items that could help her.

She silently watched around her and went to the area where she was secretly buried in the last century. She carefully instructed her sister to dig up since Destroyer was guarding the main entrance.

Lorelei gulped as her sweat ran down her back. Her hands were trembling with fear and excitement. She used her every ounce of strength to open the passage to the treasury where she could witness the history.

A dim light illuminated their way as they got closer and closer to the treasury. They could hear each of their hastened breath and beating hearts since no one dared to venture into the treasury before.

Swoosh*

The treasury lit up under their magics. They could see the vast amount of items that could start a war and attract powerful beings, but they didn't have a choice. They planned to steal a few items.

" First of all, eternal flame since we need Surtr. Second casked of the ancient winter. Third, tuning fork. Fourth, tablet of life and time, and lastly warlock's eyes."

Amora said, grabbing the items with a delighted expression. She knew these items were powerful enough to destroy Asgard.

As for Lorelei, she took only one item with her. That was a cube with gentle blue color which attracted the attention of her. She heard the whispers of the unknown being in this cube. They were calling her to take it.

Ding*

Suddenly, the security of the vault detected their presence. A loud sound of a siren filled the vault and alerted the guards with its alarm.

Amora bit her lips and took out an item from her cloak. She looked at the gates that were opened from the outside.

Swoosh*

Three figures appeared in front of them. Destroyer was looking at them with its hollow look. Lorelei was terrified to look at him since he was breathing the flames which could obliterate anything on its anyway.

" You thieves! I will kill you!"

Hela said, excluding her murderous intent. Her hair created a crown of black, symbolizing her power and tyranny. She took out a spear from her back which was glowing under the light. It was vibrating to pierce its enemies.

" I don't know who you are, but I advise you to return those items. They can't be released outside."

Arthur warned them with a heavy look on his face. He guessed their identity from their outfits, but he didn't want to tell their names to Hela who was angered by crime.

Amora raised her hand with a surrendering look. She gestured for Lorelei to stay behind her because she knew the identities of these two.

" I give up. Don't hurt us."

She spoke, looking at Arthur with a soft look. Obviously, Hela didn't take their bait as she ordered Destroyer to apprehend them. She didn't trust anyone except for Arthur.

Ding*

Her instincts were right as Amora activated the item that shouldn't be activated. A tuning fork sent out a wave. A wave that called forth other dimensional beings.

" You damn fools."

Hela roared with fury. She aimed and threw her spear with her might. The sonic boom was created by her strength, leveling the entire vault into rubble. However, it was too late. Countless, spider-like creatures appeared from nowhere. They immediately dispersed and ran to Asgard.
