As the day went on; Nathan told Paul, Calvin, Cassie, Landon, Annie and Tom about his little afternoon adventure with Roxie. At first, Paul and the others were just as stunned as Annie and Tom were earlier that afternoon when Nathan decided to go have lunch with Roxie without even saying a word to either his band mates or Cassie. But after having a rather brief conversation with Annie, Tom and some convincing from Cassie; Paul, Calvin and Landon soon realized that Nathan and Roxie's afternoon adventure was necessary if things were going to go as planned for the group's promotional tour.
"So I take it Roxie was just as surprised as we were after hearing Andrew's announcement at the dinner party last night at Angelo's." Paul stated as the group was eating dinner.
"Pretty much. According to Roxie; whenever Andrew is supposed to make some major announcement about anything pertaining to Roxie's career, he's supposed to give Roxie a warning or head's up to her privately before he says anything to either anyone or to the public." Nathan explained.
"That seems about right in my eyes. What I don't understand is why Lexie or even Scott give me a head's up about this? I'm your guys' temporary personal assistant; it's my job to let you boys know about certain things like that." Garrett mentioned.
"Mate; you can't go on blaming yourself with what happened last night." Calvin said.
"Calvin's right; there's got to at least be one good reason why Lexie or Scott didn't tell you anything about Roxie coming with us on tour." Landon pointed out.
"Hold on; I think Garrett made a valid point." Annie remarked.
"Wait; you think Lexie or Scott should have said something to Garrett about Roxie joining the boys and Cassie on the promotional tour for the band's next album?" Tom asked.
"Look, all I'm saying is when it comes to a major announcement like this one, someone whether it's me, Lexie, Tom, Garrett or Scott; needs a warning so that way you lot at least know what is going on before being ambushed by the press or anyone." Annie stated.
"Sounds like a good idea to me. What do you think Nathan?" Cassie asked.
"Huh? Oh, sorry; yeah, that sounds ideal." Nathan sighed.
"You ok Nate?" Calvin asked.
"Yeah, I'm just a little tired from my little adventure with Roxie. I think I'm going to go rest for a bit." Nathan yawned. Nathan then got up from where he was sitting and walked over to his room to go sleep.
The next day; Nathan, Annie, Tom and the others were in the Plaza Hotel parking lot loading up their belongings into Fifth Avenue Square's and Cassie's tour buses. At the same time another tour bus drove into the parking lot causing the group to become curious and a bit suspicious.
"I wonder who that could be." Landon whispered to Tom and Calvin. Once the other tour bus came to a complete stop; Nathan, his band mates, Cassie, Annie, Tom, Garrett and Lexie stood next to Fifth Avenue Square's tour bus and anticipatingly waited to see who would come out of the tour bus. To the group's surprise; Roxie and Andrew came out of the other tour bus. Annie, Tom, Garrett and Cassie walked over to Roxie to greet and hug her.
"Well; isn't this a pleasant surprise." Lexie remarked as Roxie and Andrew walked towards her, Nathan and his band mates.
"Roxie here thought it'd be a good idea to have all of us get some breakfast before hitting the road." Andrew muttered.
"If that's ok with you. I hope I wasn't intruding on any other plans that you all had planned for today." Roxie smiled.
"You're not intruding anything. All that we're doing today is traveling to the next city for the promo tour." Nathan replied. Roxie then silently smiled at Nathan causing Nathan to smile and wink at Roxie.
"Ok, well boys why don't you, Annie, Tom, Garrett and Cassie get settled in the buses while Andrew and I choose a place to eat breakfast." Lexie suggested.
"Guess that's also my que to leave also. I'll see you boys later." Roxie said as she waved goodbye. Nathan and his band mates waved goodbye as they were walking towards their own tour bus. As all four boys were walking to their tour bus; Paul informed Cassie and the others about Roxie's plans to have breakfast with all of them before heading to the next stop on the promotional tour.
"Wow; that was very generous of Roxie to do that. Though; I wouldn't be surprised Andrew was the one to make the suggestion." Annie remarked.
"True, but one good thing about this is that we at least get to spend some time with Roxie." Tom pointed out.
"Yeah but also don't be surprised this may also be the last time we all get to spend some quality time with Roxie. I wouldn't be surprised Andrew has Roxie on a tight schedule with minimal free time." Garrett stated.
"Well then that is complete bullshit! I'm sorry but I am not just going on some promotional tour where I have little to no time with my best friend. That is unacceptable and ridiculous!" Cassie retorted.
"Cassie has a good point. What's the bloody point of having Roxie join you guys on the tour if you lot aren't going to spend any or very little time with her?" Annie argued.
"What if there was a way for one of us to spend some time with Roxie?" Nathan asked.
"Yeah; like Andrew or Lexie will let that happen. Especially with what happened between you and Roxie the other day on the set of the Early Morning Show." Landon chuckled.
"Hold on; Nathan could be onto something." Calvin stated.
"True; if you really think about it, Nathan here is probably the only one out of all of us here who could convince Roxie to break away from her tour schedule." Paul added.
"Well as long as Nathan doesn't do anything reckless like taking Roxie on some midnight adventure while being on tour then I guess I'm ok with Nathan being the only one around Roxie." Garrett stated.
"You know; that actually give me a brilliant idea. Thanks mate." Nathan smiled as he walked into the tour bus.
"Oh, god; what did you do?" Annie grimaced. Paul, Calvin and Landon then followed in after Nathan to figure out what his plan was to spend time with Roxie.
"Nate, you know that Garrett was probably just kidding about taking Roxie on a midnight adventure; right?" Paul asked him.
"I know, but who's to say that I probably want to actually take Roxie on another adventure while we're on tour? Think about it lads; before we started this tour all I did was spend a majority of my time either at The Smouldering Hog helping out my family, working on my dad's old motorbike or rehearsing for the tour. Plus when Roxie and I went on our little afternoon adventure yesterday; it was like-I can't describe it, but it was as if she and I were meant to be together again." Nathan explained.
"Wait a minute; are you considering on getting back together with Roxie?" Calvin asked him.
"Honestly mate; if I had my way, not only would I be trying to get back with Roxie but I would try to get her to fall for me again." Nathan admitted.
