"What have I done?"
He sat under a tree, on the base trying to figure his next line of action. He wished he had an idea what to do but ideas seemed to elude him.
His skin was getting smeared by the greens and he was beginning to stink. He for once at that moment regretted why he left the remaining folks. He shouldn't had.
When he had left them, he had thought that he had a great plan and would figure out how to fight and tame the Manganis all by himself.
But it didn't work out as planned. Things he didn't expect caught up with him.
He couldn't be sure where he was in the forest. An instinct told him that he was lost but he wouldn't take that to heart.
He had repented at that moment. He would love to return to the village. He was sure that others would had gotten there.
Even he had no idea how he had been so lucky not to had been killed by any of the wild beasts.
He quit thinking and looked around him. There was nothing of interest there. He wished there were.
He felt hunger reaching for tip of his consciousness and it made him feel like he would quit living.
He stood up and looked at the top of the tree he had been sitting under since a long while.
The rays of the sun had been chopped into confetti that only silhouettes were what the paved leaves of the trees could give.
Twas quite hard to say the time at that moment. He was just living the best way he could.
There was no fruit at the top of the tree. Sooner or later he would starve to death. That was certain.
He wanted to do something crazy. He felt like doing such but he had no idea what.
Then at once, he felt the need to shout very loudly and summon or seize the attention of anyone closer to him. Even if the Managanis.
"I'm here!!!!!!!"
He went all lagging on the "here", the feeling was pure.
He stopped shouting and sat again under the tree. He was tired. Nothing changed even after the cry. It seemed as though he had only stressed himself in vain.
Then he stood up again and began to stagger down the path which he had been trailing.
The fact was that he had no idea where the path led to. He was just trailing.
He kept on moving. But as he kept on, he began to feel funny from within. Like he wasn't himself anymore.
His head seemed extra large on his neck and his body seemed to had been smothered.
His legs seemed heavy and his eyes were weary. He was exhausted and had no way of bailing himself out.
Then he began to disperse as all the strength in him began to be flushed.
He couldn't do anything to help himself anymore. He went down and down till he lost his strength and made a thud on the earth.
He fell on his face.
Then sooner, he felt a large silhouette covering his body.
Then the silhouette bent over him and lifted him up.
He couldn't see clearly. But he was sure that he saw a Mangani. The hand which touched him was coarse.
He had no idea what would happen to him next. But he had been prepared for it.
