Chapter 29 - 29 - The Three Men Arrived the village

"There are several things we have to say."

One of the three guys started. They were seated before the Monarch of the village. They had been attended to for few days and they were getting stronger.

After the odds of being held in the forest and having to survive till they had made it out, they hadn't been themselves until that moment.

There were few other people around them with same interest as those who had arrived few days ago.

The willingness of the group of seven that had been saved hadn't dwindle by time but you could tell that many of them had been worn out by time.

"Let's hear them."

The Monarch pushed. The same guy who had started was yet the one who seemed to have the most strength to speak.

The other two had been the culprits of captivity under the ferocious watch of the Manganis.

Despite having to fight lots of Cougars and several other cats, they had met the third guy who had been surviving all by himself in the wild.

The two definitely had narrated their ordeals to him and had told him the stance of Hava amongst the apes.

Twas his turn to do justice to the tale at that moment and he hadn't mocked the change yet.

He continued,

"I have no idea what those who came early before us had said about Hava. We were scared too in the first place. But looking from the report of those who were abducted by the Managanis, Hava had been our spy in their midst. He seemed to have an agreement with them which we have no idea of, but the only light side is that we shouldn't really be worried of waging a war against the apes. We seem to be in good hands pending the time things might escalate."

He stopped talking for a while and beckoned to one of the attendants to get him a skin of water.

He took a swig and wanted to continue when the King hopped on it,

"Do you have the strength or will you take a break?"

The fellow bowed instead and continued,

"After I met with the two of them; we met at a junction where three of the paths met. We walked a while through the woods then rested. Soon, we saw another Mangani. He was strange and different from the rest. His brown skin was much bolder and you could easily tell that he was well nourished."

He changed his position on the chair and continued,

"He only exchanged few glances with us and walked away humming this particular rhythm."

He took a break and looked at the remaining two for agreement. They nodded their heads to complement his efforts.

Twas kinda a ritual there that when someone represents a group on a discussion, such should get attestation by the nods of the partakers.

The guy again continued,

"Finally, when we were close to the exit of the forest, we saw something unprecedented. There was a magic ball we saw all by itself. It had fire running through it but it didn't set anything on fire. We wanted to go to it in the first place but before we could even do a thing, it vanished. We had no idea from where it came, why it came and where it went."

The guy stopped talking and the Monarch looked at his chiefs.

One of the Chiefs nodded and said,

"The gods seemed to had intervened."

Few other chiefs nodded in attestation while the deliberation continued.

They could for some moments feel at ease.
