"What do you think she's doing there? I hate to think that she has something to do with the resistants."
Dare said, crouching beside the Professor. They were behind a tree. The Professor had fancied that option because he didn't want to steer any sort of unnecessary attention. Or suspicion, you might want to say. He didn't know how the fellow would take the news of the monster and wouldn't fancy sharing it with him.
"I think there's only one way to check that out."
He said finally, trying not to look at the fellow. Then he added,
"But thinking that she's a part of the resistants does no good. What part do you think a girl that skinny would be able to carry out? Well definitely, we are all entitled to our different opinions of course."
Dare didn't reply. They kept looking at the girl who just knelt there, peering at the depth of the cave without saying a thing.
