Chapter 1 - Dungeon

Thirty years ago, the Demigod race, made huge movements and decisions that shook the world.

One decision that angered almost every race in the world.

They intend to regulate all the running of government as "Gods" who created the world.

The Demi-Gods themselves are one of the strongest races who are dubbed humans whose strength is equal to that of a god. The Demigod Region itself is above the sky, namely, the "Holy Land"

There is a rejection of most of the races in the world for their recognition, such as Elves, Demi-humans, Nereid's, Surian's, and Humans.

Elf race, a fairy man with characteristic long ears. They also have enormous magic power among other races.

Demi-human race, or half-animal humans. They are also called one of the weakest races, but their fighting skills are well-trained with great physical strength.

The Nereid race, or it can also be called the Sea Elf, has a characteristic fish-like ear. Their magic power will increase if they fight on the ocean floor, therefore they build many settlements on the seabed.

Surian race, or human reptiles. The characteristics of the Surian race have a long tongue and sharp jaws. Their skin is also much tougher than others. Therefore, they rely more on physical strength than magic power.

And finally Humans, one of the races that have many kinds of magic as well as the oldest race that has filled life with the world for a long time.

The five races, do not want to accept Demi-god's decision outright, moreover, they just don't want to think of Demi-god as a god who rules the government.

Eventually, all of these races joined to ally and triggered a massive battle against the Demigods.

There was a great long war that continued for many years. The world at that time was hit by great chaos, many kingdoms were destroyed and experienced a prolonged crisis.

There was also no count of how many lives the Alliance had lost. Unlike the Demigods who were dubbed one of the strongest races, their total casualties only touched the hundreds. Very different from the alliance that ranges from hundreds of thousands to millions.

After years of long turmoil, with the lives of the Alliance falling and the innocent lives, the climax of the war finally ended in a crushing victory for the Demi-God race.

As a result of that victory, each leader of the Alliance side was forced to surrender under the reign of Demi-god and declared Demi-god to be the god who created the world, where they had to follow all the rules set by them.

Demi-god also formed a new government system, where each leader of the kingdom would be directly elected by a high-ranking Demi-god named "Hensikha."

Hensikha, is an organization consisting of high-ranking Demi-Gods. Hensikha is also considered a true ruler by the Demi-God race itself and is in full control of the system of government in the world.

March, N830 | Dracheal Kingdom.

30 years after Demi-God took the world government system, everyone is getting used to living their lives, not even a few of them forget the war.

Kingdoms, particularly the human territories, are slowly recovering from the war crisis 30 years ago.

One of these kingdoms is the Dracheal kingdom.

The Dracheal Empire was known to be one of the "least" lawless and quite free kingdoms. Although development in the kingdom was not as advanced as other kingdoms, the Dracheal people lived peacefully in this sizable kingdom.

Dracheal has a royal palace which is quite magnificent as the center of royal government. Of course, the palace is the residence of the royal family.

There is also a magic army headquarters beside the royal palace. The Dracheal magic army or "Shirogami" is in charge of protecting the peace of the Dracheal kingdom as well as the protector of the royal family.

But ...

Under Shirogami headquarters, there is a very dark dungeon. The dungeon is specially made for rebels who oppose the government or dangerous criminals.

The darkness of the Shirogami dungeon seems to indicate that there is no future for these prisoners. The prison was also very quiet shrouded in darkness.

However, there is one prisoner who is currently in prison. His hands were tightly handcuffed with his head bowed like a desperate person.

Black hair as dark as night and slightly disheveled, of a man about 24 years old. The man's appearance looks normal in black clothes. There is also a sword beside his waist.

The man's blood-red gaze seemed to be the only light from the darkness of the cell. The aura he had made anyone who was near him would be scared.

He is the only prisoner in the dungeon, Lemiel Raksha.

Underground Prison, Shirogami Headquarters, City of Dhuris.

A few days later…

"Hey, do you hear? That person is still being held in this place."

"Really? I thought that person was executed."

"Well, unfortunately, it's not like that. If I were the commander, I would have executed that person."

"You just dreaming right? How could you become a commander?!"

"Just if only!"

"But ... if I'm not mistaken, he's been arrested several times, right?"

"I don't know, we better be careful."

"I agree, that guy's red eyes are terrifying."

"Yes, especially after hearing the rumors about it from the deputy commander."

"Uh.. we better get out of this place."

"Your right."

The two people who were chatting were members of the Shirogami army. The uniform they wore had a characteristic white color according to the meaning of Shirogami itself.

The two of them were walking in the dark dungeon with a mysterious woman with long hair with both hands cuffed.

Lowering her face with a flat gaze, the woman walked in the direction of the two people who were ordinary soldiers of Shirogami.

After passing through some darkness of the prison cells, the two men stopped in front of a prison that looked dirty and certainly dark. They then opened it and without thinking the dark blue-haired woman entered her cell.

After locking the door to the woman's cell tight, the two soldiers immediately left the prison without saying anything. They rushed to leave the place, feeling frightened by the figure in front of the woman's cell.

Then-

"Sorry, miss. Looks like I'm disturbing the view of your prison."

The voice of the man who broke the silence was Lemiel Raksha.

"But I'm very happy. I don't know how long I haven't seen a woman in this place," he continued later.

But there was not a single response from the woman.

It turns out that in front of the woman's cell, is Lemiel's prison cell. Unlike the woman who was only handcuffed normally, Lemiel was treated more severely, his hands were handcuffed like he was being crucified.

Since the woman still didn't respond, Lemiel started to grunt with a heavy sigh.

"Ignored, huh? Too bad, even though I'm already happy to see other people in this sad place."

The woman still didn't give the slightest response. She just sat quietly, glanced at Lemiel, who had been lowering her head while talking to hin.

The prison atmosphere was swallowed up by the silence as if lost in the darkness. And Lemiel was engulfed in loneliness again.

The next day…

Still, in the Shirogami dungeon, darkness and silence remained to envelop the prison-like an eternal night.

In fact, the two of them haven't spoken since Lemiel opened the conversation yesterday.

But this time ...

"Your name is Lemiel Raksha, right?" The short and flat question of the woman with the dark blue hair broke the silence.

"... So you have to wait a day to talk to me?" The darkness of the prison cell leaves Lemiel's face covered in darkness, except for the pair of blood-red eyes that adorn the prison cell.

However, that woman could tell that Lemiel was smiling, it was seen from the way he spoke.

"Am I right?"

"I never thought I could be famous among women."

"I heard you're a very dangerous person."

"That sounds too much."

"Indeed it is just a rumor, but your gaze has convinced me of that rumor."

"Can we start this conversation normally? Like a name introduction maybe?"

"I just don't want to make small talk, especially to you."

"Wow, your response is completely flat. It turns out that you are an attractive woman. "

"Are you trying to tease me?"

"You are too prejudiced. I just want to know you."

The woman was silent and hesitated. What Lemiel said didn't hurt. And there was nothing to suspect about his intentions.

"All right, my name is Selena."

"As you said, my name is Lemiel, nice to talk to you." Lemiel raised his face, glanced at the woman called Selena.

From the start, the two of them had indeed spoken without looking at each other. And now, they were looking at each other, naturally, Selena returned her gaze evenly.

"I don't know how long I've been able to chat like this. Ah, it feels so good. I almost gave up because I couldn't chat with anyone," he continued with a sigh.

"But, you seem to enjoy this place."

"I'm just trying to fit in. You know right? We must be able to adapt to the surrounding environment."

Lemiel continued to respond to his every word casually, while Selena was still with a straight expression.

"Why are you in this prison?"

"That is also my question."

"So, you don't know your mistake?"

"If said you don't know, maybe it's not quite right. The reason they caught me sounds more silly to me."

"Silly?"

"Forget it. I don't want to tarnish Shirogami's reputation."

Hearing the way Lemiel responded to her question, Selena was naturally astonished. Why is he that relaxed? Is that its nature?

"Then, I have a question for you." Selena stares at Lemiel so sharply that it makes the prison atmosphere cool.

"You were the Karagis war rebels 6 years ago, right?" she asked later.

Lemiel fell silent at the question. However, Selena felt the piercing air from inside Lemiel's cells, especially when she gazed at his pair of red eyes.
