The fresher's fair was the last and the most exciting event of the welcome week. There were a plethora of companies, NGO's and academic and non-academic entities actively participating in it. Numerous clubs, societies, sponsors and brands were trying to draw the crowd. They were all vying to entice the newcomers through various fun activities.
Myra loved fairs, she loved being lost in the crowd and not being noticed or singled out. She woke up early and was excitedly looking forward to this experience. Sanchit had also contributed to her excitement by giving her a detailed description of what a fresher's week looks and feels like. Therefore, she knew what exactly was in store for her.
There is comfort in knowing what to expect. It may take away the element of surprise, even so, we all want to know what lies ahead of us because it frees us from the danger and the fear of the unknown.
