Myra rose early the next day and reached well in time for the orientation. It was to be held in the LSE theatre. As she entered the foyer, she noticed people gathered all around in small numbers. The old feeling of loneliness crept in again. "Take initiative and try to strike a conversation." -Aman had advised her, but she was much too shy and self-conscious. But again, standing in the middle of the room, all alone, was more awkward.
However, this beautiful lonely girl had attracted the attention of two gentlemen behind the registration counter. "Wow!" whispered one of them. Almost immediately Myra turned her head and looked in their direction. Their eyes locked and his heart missed a beat.
"That's the registration counter." – came the voice from behind. Myra turned around and saw a tall buxom girl peering at her through her spectacles. She smiled at Myra and said – "We need to register ourselves to participate in their events. Come along..."
