Confused was all I could express myself as during this very moment. Bedazzled, flabbergasted, and worse. Below me Emilio crouched, waiting for any kind of response as he held my two hands which had become colder as they withered in the hands of the man in front of me. What could I possibly do? Expressing to him that I already had a lover waiting for me at home? Denying our friendship was ever true and escaping? Expressing to him the truth would surely end up in me digging my own grave beneath the cold, harsh soil. Eventually, his expressions beckoned me to share what truly was upon my mind, what my answer would be to his proposal.
