Kristina's pov
My day went just as normal ,patients coming in , emergencies and all that stuff then I had to check on my first patient of the day.
I looked at his folder.
Name:Ryan Carter

.....
it went on about the general stuff and I found out he is VIP .mmmm he must be rich. He could go home by tomorrow, so I have to deliver these news to his.
I enter his ward and see this handsome guy talking to my patient but it feels like it was scolding if some sort.
"Hi everyone. Ryan how are you feeling"I greeted in a professional tone. They looked at me like I forgot to bow to them.
"Ummmm did I do something wrong. Why are you guys staring at me like that"I couldn't help but question them.
".Nothing just that you are very pretty "Ryan answered and the guy just stared at me.
"Owkay let's get started then"
I did my routen check and everything looked good so far.
"ok Ryan you can go home tomorrow and I'll check on you in the morning. Everything good?"
"Do you really not know us" Ryan asked
"should I ?"
"You should "
" Are you guys celebrities then?"
"Ask someone who knows celebs then "
"Wait let me call my bestie then"
I took out my cell and called my bestie Stella (using video call) and she answered after the third ring.
" Hey bitch "
"Stella I got a tackle here , some men her think they are celebrities and they are looking ate like I'm crazy for not knowing them"
I heard the other guy snort then Stella answered
"Let me look at them"
I turned the screen to Ryan and Stella immediately started screaming as soon as she saw him.
"Tina are you crazy ,you don't know him"
"I know BTS that's enough" I answered in a duh tone.
"He is a celebrity businessman and you don't know him. He could fire you right now "
" I'm already worried about the asshole I'm marrying if he will let me work already don't add to my stress .Talk later " and I hung up.
"So I guess you guys are really famous for Stella to scream like that huh " I said after an awkward silence.
The mysterious guy said "Why are you marrying a guy you know is an asshole?"
"Cause I'm obliged to and I can't back out of it"
"Guess I know what you are felling" He said back
"what do you mean?"I asked completely confused
"Well I'm also being forced to marry a gold digger " He said dryly
"And I suddenly fell awkward "I said and put a tight smile
"I'm Alex and you are Tina I guess?"
"I'm actually Kristina, Tina is just a nickname "
We shook hands and I stayed there for a little while longer and eventually left. Duty calls.
FAST FORWARD TO KRISTINA'S APARTMENT
Why is work always tiring. I mentally groaned. I went straight to my bathroom and took.a long bath. I prefer baths than shower . I fell like they are more relaxing.
Anyway I finished bathing and everything and went to binge in my living with ice cream. I feel like ice cream today after the whole marriage drama and I'm still mad that I have to marry a complete stranger.
I chose a random movie and started watching. As you can see I have a very little life cause I'm addicted to a thing called reading . My dad calls in the middle of the movie and I answered
" Hey dad "
" Sweetheart you know I didn't mean for all of this to happen and I know you are angry so I compromised that you will go to at least 25 dates before the engagement celebration so you actually know the guy but you can never get divorce and neither can he" he rambled everything at that moment.
"Sounds good to me "I said in a depressed voice
"He has your number, so expect a call from tonight I love you my babygirl night "

I hung up the call and went straight to bed and slept almost immediately. I wasn't gonna wait for the call anyway so night to my self
