Njuko pick up his rewards another tooth, at this rate he will die soon. He chooses not rest because he is a currently not in his right mind. The damage is affecting his thinking so he is mostly relying on his storm. With the energy spread throughout his body he feels a tingle. This tingle is a his driving force at the moment it wants to move, so he moves following where it leads. Which is the ninth cave.
Five of the normal Gnome's are in the room, Njuko doesn't care enough to check what or where the rest are, he can feel the room. He can't make anything out yeah specific the is like a web around and where it's disturbed there could be something. He breathes in the web is disturbed some are responsive while others are not.
A Gnome spots him, he hadn't stopped moving towards after all the web around is just another effect of his storm that he needs to learn. The Gnome bumbles towards Njuko, his skin ripples as it enters his range which is fifteen meters however the closer a target is the more damage they will take.
He flashes a lightning bolt into the air, now that he is storming off he doesn't need to worry about building energy the same way a doesn't worry about his arm being there. The flash of light alerts six of the eight the two biggest and his current nemesis the Boulder brained Gnome wubble about the rear exit.
The bolt came out from his foot thus barely flashed and only a sound. In the storm he has types of lightning just like a normal storm, his itching to try thunder fall. Or at least that is what he is calling it. It's a normal lightning bolt however he doesn't allow the light to travel with it thus producing an invisible lightning bolt.
The first Gnome drops when it's gets within five meters of him. It's body sizzling as it drops dead smoke coming out the eyes. Njuko smiles turning to collect its tooth drop. As he gets the tooth another arrives he doesn't even look at it his field got disturb and since it moves so slowly he can easily determine the direction of the Gnome. He shots another proper lighting bolt it is followed by thunder booming and disrupting the peace of the cave a steady rhythm of boom clap follows Gnome's dropping like fireflies.
Six Gnome's have fallen and Njuko has not pick up his pace. Being naked allows his field to spread out from his whole body. Thus he has always an idea of what where. He wishes he knew what's what but then again he is still starting out. This is barely a storm that he is using at the moment. He can feel Oya laughing at his attempt at a storm. If her sending is a storm then what he has just pulled off is a breeze from a butterfly.
Njuko lifts up his hand lightning dancing in between his fingers, it takes a few seconds to all ten bolts ready. This his most difficult skill that he has to master like a swords man learning to parry so that he can keep attacking Njuko has managed to parry his lightning bolts between his fingers.
He gets close to both the Boulder brains and throws out five bolts of lightning killing the first. The second freaks out at the boom of five simultaneous, Njuko isn't bothered he runs at it throwing lightning bolts like before. Thus rudimentary fighting style is another fuck you to Boulder brains he really dislikes them.
He had put his hands on the head and two bolts explode into its head. The nineth room is a similar affair only that he he didn't use his hands. He danced around letting them come close and then popped he also slowed down a bit creating a rhythm he can follow which is about a shoot every three seconds this keeps him at full power incase some thing like the first experience with Boulder brains.
The tenth room is interesting because it us the first with a change to the cave instead of a few small Brightrocks there is only one. Sitting right in the middle. Njuko destroys it immediately, he waned to do it in the last room but the Brightrocks were to many and would have made him waste a lot of time.
The room falls into darkness the Gnome's backs which are also made of bright rock start to shine marking each of them out. Njuko knows that he can build energy so he does. He moves around the room lining up his shoot as a massive single volt travel through four different and oddly spaced Gnome's. His field had reacted in some way. He focus his field on a gnome who in still alive through his bolt to the left of the creature. The bolt turns and hits the gnome. Njuko smiles this field is very useful giving him a way to control the direction of his lightning.
He uses this to full testing with every gnome in the room and the next room...
Grid sips his lmale looking in the tavern the report has no mention of the enemy that attacked. Except that along the ancient eastern route reapers have stopped coming from at least three forts a small town. He plans this to be their next stop the closet a fort Hood is at least a weeks journey especially with three along. He tries his best to resign himself after all he choose these students. They have only been gone a few hours and he needs to get some sleep today.
