Chapter 6 - Purification

Njuko goes through his list mentally, 'Geography? No I can explore better on my own. Culture then? Its probably too early for that I'm not even sure what about the culture I want to know. Then hows about a tip? You are trying to become a hunter. Maybe she has a tip or clue or something? Yes yes that's good. ' after thinking and for a bit Njuko agrees with himself and says to Freza.

"Madam Freza, I'm a new to this part of the world and have decided to become a hunter do you have any tips for me or even some advice maybe?" Njuko uses he best smile. She looks him over all careful like just like how she did with the items, her large frame hanging over her small stall.

" I can see you just bonded your spirit, Yes? Definitely you should go speak the local priest, their is ritual they perform their to help you cleanse your element. Yeah that's the my advice." Freza seems pleased with herself as she says this.

Njuko is not sure but take sher advice gladly and then moves towards his target in the market that meat stall. Where the man with fire for finger is cooking meat with a hit rock plate. Njuko points at three very different looking pieces of meat and the man's brings it over to his small dining area made up of a chair that is attached to the table.

The man who is thin in spite of looking like he samples everything he cooks everytime he cooks it. Brings over a hot stone plate with the cooked pieces Njuko had chosen. Njuko picks at the hot sampling a small piece from eat. He is very happy the meat he chose is very good and well prepared and the subtle flavors dancing on the back of his tongue. The chilli was especially good as it sends a cold chill down his body while the spice deliver a hot blow. Soon enough Njuko is in his plate finishing every single piece of food on the plate. He hits his full stomach and thanks the cook bringing out the hundred coins he owes for meal.

"I will add another fifty if you give this new hunter a tip." he picks at the coins in money bag and adds a few more. The cook grins widely and oddly saying the exact same thing Freza had word for word. Njuko is now convinced he must go see this crusty old priest and perform the purification ritual. The building that Freza had pointed is a buildung with many pointy rooves.

Njuko feels like there is eyes one but the feeling is suddenly sharper than before. Yet he can't pin point where it's coming. Having no other way to find who ever is tracking him he moves slowly towards the priest hoping that if he takes his time he might across who ever is looking for him. He stops at almost ever stall on the way to the priest.

Njuko spent almost half an hour at the small weapons stall going over the various found here. There all kinds of staves, bow, spear, swords and shields. When he enquired about the price he got a shock and not from the sphere inside pocket but rather from the voice of the shrewd stall keeper. All his prices start at five thousand for a weapon that does less damage than his basic attack.

The craftsmanship is decent too everything feels like it's made by professionals and not the one of them is trying to scam him or take advantage. Which is rare and welcomed most people in his world have trusted vendors who they trade with. Njuko spent as much time as he could browsing before he got bored and makes his way down the path to priest.

He arrives at the building that is just walls no windows painted white with bright red rooves. The door is bright yellow, Njuko hasn't seen a building this ugly since he went to hinterlands with his father to meet with The Tano, those people are as tall as the buildings his father had said "Don't be afraid they just bigger is all." Njuko's father has never been a great comforter however that can be said about most people from the Fractured lands.

He walks in pushing the huge door aside which moves without making a sound. A gentle humming is coming from inside. A brown skinned woman, wearing the thinnist of pure velvet, body hugging silk fabric. Njuko is stunned in place her long flowing locks, her wonderfully emareld eyes her inviting personality both of them. She glides across the room moving from center of build close to a staute of some sort.

She bows low enough that Njuko has to look away in order to keep himself in control. She is by far the most beautiful woman he has ever seen this side of the portal. Her voice is soothing more than soothing its enchanting.

"How can we help you today, young man?" She had to repeat herself since Njuko had not responded when she asked the first time. She actually had to touch him to snap him out of his stuper. What hit Njuko the hardest was when he looked away the other priest was wearing even less and she had even better skin and measurements. All around him the entire hall is filled with nothing but beautiful thinly clad woman. 'A man can die happy here, even some woman,' he thinks to himself.

"Uhm, sorry... Yes... I heard I can get the purification ritual done here." He would have said more but due to his surroundings that is all he could get out. His eyes are darting all around trying to find a refuge from all the bodacious bodies.

"Of course please follow me sir, if you don't can you tell me a little about your element?" She takes his arm which causes his heart to beat faster she leads him towards the center of the room three other priest join them each carrying strange omens. The only one Njuko can make out is shaped like a book from which the priest at the back has started reading from her hair is braided up. Her voice sound like butterfly flapping it's wings ever so soft yet extremely powerful.

"I think it's a Primal Element with an affinity for lightning." Njuko told as much as he could alm the information that had was already exposed to her. She shakes her head which also include her impressive bosom that brushes up against his arm. His whole body tingles at her soft delicate touch. A power charge flows through body. He takes a large deep breath and exhales the charge dissipates.

"No silly, I mean how long have you been joined and if by any chance at all you know the name of the your Eleke? The way she asked so calmly, just make Njuko sway his head nearly forgetting to answer the first part of the question.

"It's been less than day." Nkujo says remembering his training for Bilat back then he use to even go weak in the knees just from seeing her. The thought of Bilat clears his thoughts even more allowing him to steady his thoughts and wrangle control of his body.

The priest ushers him to the pool that is coming from the staute of a woman. The pool is silver because there is no water in that but a there is a shit tonne of liquid that looks like silver but unlike it he doesn't feel the heat needed to make it into a liquid.

"Don't worry it's only Qenduim a purified version of the fluid of creation." Njuko is shocked at how nonchalantly she said that his pool is basically distilled creation juice. Njuko nearly stops but since no one is saying anything he enters with his clothes on. The pool whirls around him. Gently then changes to match his deep blue eyes at its center he can see a total dark spot. The pool does look like an eye the way its moves around him.

Then slowly a figure of pure lightning in a symbol that is circular in nature thou one can clearly make out it is. The lightning dances around him. Njuko can feel a strong connection to it.

The priest all start chanting together the lights in room going darker as the power of the prayer envelops the roo. Then the pool and final Njuko and his Eleke. Njuko is pulled into the pool by a strange force. His body is pulled apart he can see pieces of him are missing their are gaps their and these gaps must be filled with a power similar to his Eleke yet somewhat different. Then his Fibres are pulled each one of them individually and wrapped in his Eleke. He would cried out of he could however he couldn't feel his body. The sensation was not of a disconnect but rather that the process he is under going is meant to be done in this fashion his Eleke has taken the pain and using to fuel the transformation inside his body. Whole muscles are embued with energy before being to return his bones that have that script now brimming with energy.

Njuko floats to the top of the pool and his Eleke settle inside him. The presit have reached a crescendo on their chanting and the entire is room reverberates the energy being carried out in waves from the pool. The priest are pure ecstacy as the statue from which the liquid flows opens its eyes and looks at the pair floating in its waters. Grand priest who is the guardian of the statue falls to knees in awe of his deity paying them a visit. The statue hands him a vision.

The priest stay in his kneeling position for hours afterwards making sure to remember ever detail passed on to him by his deity...
