One fine day Mercedes and her PA aka bestie went towards the rocky sea shore, to the Hotel xxx for their brunch. They were busy chatting with each other over their new project that was set to take place within a week. They were taking a rest from their busy schedule .
While waiting for their brunch to be served , Mercedes told her bestie she needs to go to the bathroom. She left her friend and went to the ladies washroom.
After solving her physiological problem, she came out and touched her makeup on the mirror, while busy checking her dress someone bump into her. Mercedes strengthen her body to not collide with the wall but unexpectedly she got a cut in her arms.
A young girl with a red business dress was continuously bowing to her " I'm sorry, I'm sorry I didn't mean to dash in to you, I'm sorry I am in a hurry ,I'm sorry ".she keep pleading while collecting her hand bag and files from the floor.
Mercedes didn't know what to do, if this was her office she have already lash out at her by now, but since this was a public place she didn't want to caused trouble, she turned around and left without saying anything. There were only the two of them in the washroom so it wouldn't have much impact on her career, she thoughts.
When Mercedes came back, her friend look at her with confused eyes what had happened to this devil , who have the guts to make her angry. Her PA aka bestie look at Merce with questioning gaze.
Mercedes huff and gritted her teeth, her face turned red from angers , she groans " f...what was that, when have I ever disgrace my life as someone punching bag, f.....she slammed the table hard"
Gloriana, sat down on her chair without moving scared to added fuel to the angry tigress. Seeing her bestie face turned red she knows this was not the time to speak or else she will end up becoming her punching bag in returned.
When Mercedes calm down a bid , Gloria filled a cup of water for her to drink then calmly asked, " what had happened can you tell me"
Merce face turned dark " someone purposely bump into me and here I got a cut, that bitch" she cursed.
Gloria slam her own forehead , she look at her friend who was sulking and shake her, " how do you know, she did it intentionally " .
Merce huff and said " we were the only one who were in the washroom , don't you know what her intentions is" she smirk.
Gloria look at her with confused eyes, Merce then continue " of course to blackmail me, but my brain was quick enough to dogged or else I'll be the one who push her', shameless bitch" she continue cursing her.
Gloria chuckled " you!, why did you always have dirty mind " 'everyone is not like you ' she speak in her mind but didn't dare to speak out loud or her friend will cursed her whole life.
She served her a spoonful of icecream, " here, open your mouth to cold you down little kitten " she smirk at her.
Merce huff at her but still she open her mouth and eat the icecream.
While Gloria able to calm her angry friend, she breath in secret, ' huuu I thought she wouldn't leave me, thanks my icecream saviour' she thanks in her mind.
When they were enjoying their meal, someone knocked on their room. Gloria replied " come in" while Mercedes continue eating without caring about anything.
A beautiful lady walked in, with the same girl who bumped into Merce at the washroom.
"I'm sorry to disturbed your time, but I'm here to apologize for my secretary mistake, please forgive us " she bow down at them.
Seeing someone bow at them Gloria stood up and said " you don't have to do that, it's not necessary we can talk about it".
Mercedes look up from her bowl and scuff " what's the need it already been done, I don't think you want me to cut her as well right, I'm not that ruthless enough to harmed someone " she continue eating her meal.
Gloria thought if you are not ruthless then who will killed her enemy without batting an eye, she don't know whether to cry or laughs at her shameless friend.
The lady face turned red she look down and said " I'm sorry miss, it was our mistake, I'll pay for your medicine, please forgive us this time, I'll do what you asked us to do please pardon us" she continue.
Gloria don't feel good at the lady pleading plus it was not that big, but they make like a life threatening, she turned to Mercedes at glared at her.
Sensing her friend dagger , Mercedes put down her chopsticks and said " alright I'll forgive you if you invested in my clothing store which I needed help but 70% is mind".
The woman smile " alright, I'll let my PA contact you, here is my personal number you can contact me if there's anything you need help with " she put the card on the table and bow down again before she left with her secretary.
When the two women left, Gloria look at her friend and thought' as expected of a shameless devil's she shake her head but then she remember she didn't recognise that lady who was she, she look at Mercedes and said.
"Do you know her, who is she and I don't remember you lack investors why did you recommend her".
Mercedes smile evilly and said with a cold voice " Maria Milan the daughter of Robert Milan, who own the global airport company, I recommend her of course for future used, you don't need to worry" she smile with a smirk 'welcome to the game missus ' she thought in her head.
Meanwhile ,when Maria came out of the private booth were Mercedes had their meals she smile with triumph as she pass with her first challenge taking out her cell phone and contact Edmond " the trapped is set" .
Edmond who was sitting in his conference meeting smile with satisfaction , but to his employees that was the smile they never want to see, as it meant you're dead. They continue their meeting sweating their forehead they don't dare to breathe scared to attract the devil.
While his employees praying silently in their hearts, Edmond thoughts of his next move, he adjourned the meeting and left to his office.
