I left the tavern holding Ruby's hand, but this time I wasn't that embarrassed. Kellon and I had to pry the girls apart while Stell and Diagon tried to contain their laughter. Now, we were outside and we each had a hold of the women's hands with the other two between us.
Kellon was leading us to the palace to meet with his father, the King. Our trip through the city was interesting. With the tall buildings everywhere and the even taller walls, it was shaded, for the most part, making it easy to enjoy the weird buildings built on top of each other. Something I noticed in every structure was an embedded gems, and if I got close enough to one of the lower ones, I could hear soft music from them.
This was troubling but just hypothetical for now. Unless the Karris used machines that did something to the gem, but still, too much what if to worry about just yet. I focused on the white crystal wood palace ahead of us that we were soon coming up too.
