Chapter 2 - broken relationship

"YAAAAAAA HAN SUN MI"

oh shit

"quick guys out the window," she said to her friends panicking as they took the bedsheet and slid it down the window

they said their goodbyes and left, right in time as her mother slammed open the door.

"sunmi"

"my name is seon mi now mom"

"WHY CAN'T YOU JUST STUDY"

'she always ignores my words' she thought

"what are you talking about? I am studying" sunmi says acting clueless

"you know what"

"you should've died instead of your sister at least she would make up some money for us," her mother said feeling disappointed

"ma-"

"I sent you to college not to make friends and have fun with them I sent you there to study and have a proper job which your sister would've done that already, I wasted so much money for no reason" she sighs and walks out of seon mi's room

she sighs as she sits on her bed.

ever since suzy's death the relationship between mother and daughter distantend the mother never gave the affection to her anymore, she felt like she missed a part of her after suzy's death. it seemed that the only person who could've prevented this was Suzy but now that she's not here everything became different, everything changed, after her death, they immediately moved out of the house as it gave too many memories of Suzy, after they moved seon mi tried her best to cheer up her mother but in her mother's eyes seon mi was just a mistake.

"when will you stop saying those words?" she says looking at her carpet.

she looked at the time and decided to go to bed since it was already late.

02:55𝐚𝐦

Dark smoke surrounded seon mi suddenly a book fell on her head

"ow" seon mi woke up and saw the book

she took the book in her hands and looked at it

"where did this come from?" she asked herself

the book looked as if the book was from the anime deathnote except the book didn't have any title on it

she went to the first page and saw a picture of a boy and underneath the picture, there was a sentence

"𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐮𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐛𝐨𝐲"
